Growing up watching The Addams Family, I always dreamt of having a doll that truly embodied the spirit of Wednesday Addams. Now, thanks to this incredible new line, my dreams have come to life!
Mattel unveiled a fresh Monster High doll inspired by Wednesday, leaving us eagerly anticipating the upcoming second season of the series.
The new collection includes two special edition Wednesday Addams dolls, plus one of her colourful best friend, Enid Sinclair. Each doll comes with a stand, full outfits and accessories.
This doll showcases Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, donning her distinctive black organza gown from the Nevermore Rave’N dance, which is iconic to the character. To give it an updated twist, this vintage ensemble is accessorized with a striking belt, spiderweb stockings, and platform shoes.
To obtain the Rave’N Wednesday doll, you have the option of purchasing her through Selfridges at a price of £60.
The “Second Wednesday Doll” for sale on eBay showcases a teenage character in a goth-style school outfit. One foot holds a cello while the other displays her cherished pet scorpion, Nero.
Alongside her, she brings her trusty companion Thing, and a black backpack decorated with skulls and spiderwebs is in tow.
The Enid Sinclair doll embodies the lively fashion sense of Wednesday’s roommate, sporting a striped shaggy-heart sweater, patterned stockings, and bright yellow sneakers.
Additionally, she sports a pink beanie and a plush-covered bagpack. You can purchase this doll through Selfridges at a price of £40.
The latest Monster High series mirrors Mattel’s exclusive, two-doll set of the Addams Family, showcasing characters Wednesday and her mother Morticia.
Earlier this year, it became official that the highly-anticipated second season of Wednesday started shooting in Ireland, following the success of its first season.
The popular Netflix show has introduced several fresh actors to its roster, such as Billie Piper, Steve Buscemi, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.
Additionally, it has been verified that Thandiwe Newton, Joanna Lumley, Heather Matarazzo, and Haley Joel Osment will be joining as special guests in upcoming episodes. Notably, Christopher Lloyd, who played Fester Addams in the original Addams Family films, is also part of this lineup.
