This Powerful WandaVison Hero Could Be in Avengers: Doomsday

According to the latest reports, it seems I might be joining the esteemed ranks of the Avengers in an upcoming project – Avengers: Doomsday. This unexpected development has me quite thrilled! My longtime associate has dropped hints that suggest I’m involved in a Marvel project, and given that this mystery project is currently being filmed in London, it aligns perfectly with the production schedule for Doomsday. So, here’s to hoping that my character from WandaVision and Agatha All Along could be making an appearance!

Joe Locke’s Wiccan rumored to join Avengers: Doomsday’s cast

It’s possible that Joe Locke could once again play the character Billy Maximoss in the movie Avengers: Doomsday. Hints towards Locke’s participation have been dropped by stage actor Steven Sater, who mentioned a Marvel project.

During a TikTok broadcast, Sater hinted that Locke was absent during their recent London visit as he’s likely working on a Marvel movie. Although Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed Locke’s participation yet, the only known Marvel production in London currently is Avengers: Doomsday, unless some Secret Wars sequences are being shot concurrently.

In the 2024 series “Agatha All Along,” Locke portrayed Wiccan. Throughout the show, he acquired magical powers and aided Agatha Harkness in fighting Death. The narrative concluded with Agatha sacrificing herself and reappearing as a ghost to aid Billy in locating his sibling, Tommy. Marvel plans to expand on this storyline in their upcoming Disney+ series “Vision Quest.” A possible film role for Locke could enrich his character’s development further.

Based on leaked sketches from 2025, it appears Locke’s Wiccan might have been depicted alongside the Youthful Avengers. However, the Russo Brothers have dismissed any connection to their interpretation of Avengers: Doomsday. Despite their denial, fans are still buzzing with theories that the movie could either introduce or hint at the Young Avengers.

Locke himself has made public his lifelong association with Marvel, noting that he “signed for life” (as reported by The Playlist). Given that Doomsday involves characters spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and the X-Men universe, incorporating a magic user like Wiccan could enhance the evolving team dynamics.

Doomsday,” helmed by the Russo brothers, is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
