This morning’s Rochelle Humes shared a heartfelt account of a recently experienced nerve-wracking incident in a touching social media post.

At the Paris Fashion Week 2024, the presenter was a participant in L’Oréal’s ‘Strut Your Self-Value’ catwalk show.

Rochelle shared a video to her Instagram page, taking viewers through the backstage preparation and the catwalk itself, and spoke about the mix of anxiety and excitement the event gives her.

She penned, “Another Fashion Show finished.” Yet, I remain incredulous at my good fortune to consider this my profession. The honor of being reinvited annually is an unparalleled privilege for a lifetime.

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to every member of our team, from the runners to the executives, who put in countless hours, day and night, to create what I believe is the greatest show on earth.

“Walking that catwalk is one of the most nerve-wracking experiences, but being surrounded by quite literally some of the most INCREDIBLE women on the planet is the biggest confidence boost. I’m endlessly thankful to be part of this incredible event.

In a post, Sam Thompson from Made in Chelsea exclaimed, “Nailed it perfectly!”, while Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud remarked, “Simply breathtaking.” Ben Shephard, Rochelle’s colleague on This Morning added, “You were just marvelous, Roche!

Instead of saying “Rochelle’s husband Marvin took their kids Alaia-Mai and Valentina to watch the event, and shared some more photos and videos to his Instagram Stories,” you could rephrase it as: “Marvin, Rochelle’s spouse, brought their daughters Alaia-Mai and Valentina to the event, where he also posted additional photos and clips on his Instagram account.

“School night but worth it,” he captioned one video. “So proud of Mummy, she absolutely killed it.”
