This Morning’s Josie Gibson loses it as viewer calls in to show off ‘monstrous’ doll – and takes savage swipe at friend
As someone who has spent a fair share of my years poring over art history books and appreciating the beauty that can be found in various artistic movements, I must say, this artwork seems to have taken a different path entirely. It’s not often that one encounters a piece that leaves me questioning whether it was created by a mischievous gremlin rather than an accomplished artist.
On Fridays, This Morning had Josie Gibson bursting into laughter when a viewer proudly displayed his extraordinary waxwork figure.
During their conversation about the item’s past, the 39-year-old presenter burst out laughing upon seeing its picture appear on the screen, shared with the item’s owner.
During the segment, expert Dan appraised callers’ treasured items – however, the one he appraised for Josie took her by surprise.
Josie took a savage swipe at her friend Carla as she explained why the bust made her laugh so much.
Josie did a quick, surprised look twice when she noticed the 1920s wax figure, as it reminded her of her friend so much.

In the conversation I had, Hugh shared details about his prized item, which had me giggling uncontrollably. Even Dan, trying to maintain composure, asked me to stop laughing.
Craig Doyle, Josie’s fellow actor, asked Hugh, “Hey Hugh, did you have this item at home when you were younger? Didn’t it scare you?”
He replied: ‘Yes, I remember that incident when I was around three years old. I believe I must have fallen asleep in the living room and awakened to find it pitch-black and someone watching me. This truly frightened me.’
Josie shared that her laughter stemmed from the strong resemblance between the person and an old friend of hers. Upon turning around, she exclaimed, “Wow, it’s Carla!” in surprise.
Dan added: ‘It’s even got real hair this’, sparking Josie’s wheezing laughing fit to continue.
In an attempt to move forward with our presentation, Dan mentioned, “Some of these items are advertised at unbelievable costs exceeding £3000 online. However, the fair market value for this item should be considered more around £1000 – a substantial amount, but reasonable.”
Josie said: ‘Amazing, oh she’s gorgeous. Don’t ever get rid of her though, she’s lovely’.
Dumbfounded Craig joked: ‘Or you can just bury it. It’s so scary Hugh.’

Fans were also in floods of laughter as they commented to the ‘creepy’ looking artwork on X.
Some wrote: ‘Dan and Josie are absolutely pissing themselves trying to do this #ThisMorning’,
‘Why tf would you want that weird face in your house? #ThisMorning’,
‘That’s horrific #ThisMorning’,
‘Josie’s laughing is giving me so much joy! #ThisMorning’,
‘OMG what is that monstrosity? #ThisMorning’.
