As a long-time fan of Ben Shephard, I must say that his recent emotional journey with his son Sam starting university truly resonates with me. Having gone through similar experiences myself, I know how bittersweet it can be to see our children take that big step towards independence. The pride and joy he felt during the live link on Lorraine was palpable, and it was heartwarming to see him share such a personal moment with the audience.
Ben Shephard, the host of “This Morning,” shared some touching words regarding a heartfelt family achievement as his child embarked on the journey to college.
On the television show “Lorraine” of September 16, the presenter made a live appearance. During this broadcast, Lorraine mentioned that it had been an emotional weekend for Ben, expressing disbelief that his son Sam was now at university.

Following the heartwarming display of Sam and his mom Annie, Ben confessed that she outshone him in many ways. He admitted he became extremely sentimental when reflecting on this moment.
However, everything’s going well for him, I appreciate your concern. Many folks have inquired about his situation,” he mentioned, preceding to share some details following a call they had from him earlier in the day.

Later on, I gleefully shared more about the amusing incident on “This Morning,” expressing that Annie was thrilled beyond measure to know she’s still indispensable.
Cat Deeley playfully remarked, “I think you understand that he’ll likely back out – by this time next week, he’ll just be heading home.
“It was lovely to feel wanted,” Ben added.
