This Morning star Nick Ferrari ‘throws I’m A Celeb into chaos after pulling out of talks at the last minute’ following  ‘intervention’ from bosses

Nick Ferrari, host of This Morning, has caused some disruption to plans for the 2025 season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! by unexpectedly withdrawing from negotiations to appear on the show.

The 66-year-old broadcaster was interviewed by ITV before his employer, LBC – where he hosts the morning show – stepped in to prevent him from traveling to Australia.

The radio station reportedly offered to pay Nick whatever amount “I’m A Celeb” was offering him, hoping to convince him to stay with them instead.

Nick Ferrari has hosted the LBC breakfast show since 2004 and frequently contributes to the television program, This Morning.

Radio executives promised to cover whatever salary he would earn elsewhere, recognizing his importance and popularity on the LBC schedule.

In the end, Global’s strong financial position allowed them to retain the talent. Had he moved, he would have been unable to broadcast for as long as six weeks, something Global wanted to avoid.

Sources told The Sun that Nick is popular with his colleagues at LBC, and they believe he skillfully negotiated a pay raise.

Daily Mail have contacted Nick’s representatives and LBC for comment.

Kelly Brook was spotted at Heathrow Airport on Saturday, getting ready to fly to Australia to participate in the show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Even though she’s facing scary challenges ahead, the 45-year-old model seemed happy and smiled brightly as she was the first celebrity to start her adventure in Australia.

Kelly looked relaxed and comfortable for her trip, wearing a brown tracksuit with surprisingly expensive accessories: £1,000 Chanel sandals and a matching £6,000 handbag.

Wearing stylish sunglasses, the glamorous woman received assistance with her many bags, which were stacked high on a luggage cart.

In 2018, Kelly stated she’d rather do almost anything – even work at her local pub – than be on the reality show set in the jungle.

She said on her Heart radio show that she has no desire to try the unusual foods featured on the show, like eyeballs or sheep testicles.

‘Even if I had a huge tax bill and I had to pay it really urgently, I still wouldn’t do it.’

She reportedly agreed to appear on the show after receiving a substantial offer. She’ll be joining a cast of well-known actors, musicians, and comedians when the show returns later this month.

According to a source, television executives have wanted Kelly to appear on the show for years, believing she could be their most attractive contestant yet.

I’ve always been a big fan! She’s just so glamorous and quick-witted, and you really get to know her as a regular on ITV – I’ve seen her on Loose Women countless times, and she’s always brilliant on other shows too.

‘She’s guaranteed to make perfect TV viewing.’

She’ll be working alongside Ruby Wax, 72, a well-known TV personality famous for shows like ‘Girls On Top’ and the film ‘Shock.’ Wax has also contributed writing to the popular BBC program ‘Absolutely Fabulous’.

Nowadays she’s known as a mental health expert.

According to a source, Ruby is a well-respected television personality who brings a lot of experience and credibility to this season’s cast. Having interviewed many famous people, she’s expected to easily connect with the other contestants.

‘It will make great TV for viewers.’

The show has added two popular soap opera stars: Shona McGarty, who played Whitney Dean on EastEnders for sixteen years, and Lisa Riley, famous for her role as Mandy Dingle on Emmerdale.

Martin Kemp, a 64-year-old actor and star of Spandau Ballet, will be joined by broadcasters Alex Scott, 41, and Vogue Williams, 40.

Jack Osbourne, age 39, will also be joining the camp, only four months after the sad passing of his father, rock star Ozzy Osbourne.

According to a source, Jack is expected to talk about his father, Ozzy, which promises to be a very emotional moment for everyone in camp and those watching at home, as Ozzy is a beloved musician.

Black Sabbath’s iconic singer, Tony Bennett, passed away from heart failure at his home in Buckinghamshire on July 22nd, at the age of 76. This came just two weeks after he played a final concert with his band in Birmingham.
