This Morning’s Poppy O’Toole has given birth!

The celebrity chef, age 31, shared the happy news on Instagram this weekend: she’s welcomed a baby girl!

Poppy and her husband, Tom Shattock, recently welcomed a baby daughter into the world. She gave birth last week.

Poppy shared some lovely photos and announced that her baby daughter arrived last week, saying she’s doing great. She also thanked everyone for their kind wishes and messages.

She looked ecstatic as she cradled her baby in her arms, sat in front of a Christmas tree.

Poppy, known as the ‘Potato Queen’ thanks to her popular TikTok videos, once playfully suggested names like ‘Mashlynn’ and ‘Dauphinoise’ for her daughter, but she hasn’t announced the baby’s name yet.

She was flooded with plenty of sweet comments from her nearest and dearest.

Poppy recently announced she’s taking time off to have her baby, saying she’s ‘logging off’ for a while.

It comes after Poppy got married in July – flashing her rock to viewers behind the hob.

Dermot O’Leary, 52, and Sian Welby, 38, were giving viewers a preview of the show, including an interview with Tinie Tempah, money-saving expert Jordan Cox, and advice on pet safety. They then switched to Poppy, who was demonstrating her recipe for smashed potato salad.

Dermot announced, ‘And now, straight from the dance floor and into the kitchen, please welcome our newly-married Poppy O’Toole, the potato queen!’

The camera then panned in on the star waving her ring finger  with a grin on her face.

Dermot said: ‘Hey Pops! Congratulations.’

They also talked about Poppy’s exciting news – she’d been cooking and discovered everyone loves potatoes!

Dermot told her: ‘People also love that you are married and congratulations and wonderful stuff.

‘Thank you very much!’ Poppy replied. 

She continued: ‘We got married recently, it was lovely.’ 

Dermot was curious if potatoes were part of the wedding meal, and she told him they only had a single dish featuring potatoes – a truffle potato salad.

Poppy confessed: ‘In a wedding dress you can’t eat potatoes all day, I can try…’ 

The chef took to her Instagram to share the exciting news. 

Posting a black and white snap from her big day, she said: ‘Had quite a busy weekend…’ 

She shared some other snaps with fans. 

Celebrity chef and TikTok star Poppy O’Toole has gotten married! She looked stunning at her wedding ceremony, which took place at the Redditch Registry Office.

We planned a wedding really quickly – in about four weeks! We realized afterwards that you actually have to give 29 days’ notice, and we totally overlooked that. It’s pretty typical for us to do things like that, though.

We had a really special and personal ceremony two weeks ago – we wrote our own vows and a friend led the whole thing, and she was fantastic! It wasn’t a legal marriage, but it was the happiest day of my life!

This morning, Tom and I officially became married at the registry office in Redditch with just our parents there. We didn’t hire a photographer, so Tom playfully took some photos of me with his iPhone while we were waiting – it was a fun, impromptu photoshoot!

‘Then our Moms signed the papers as witnesses and it was all very lovely.

You know, after years of traveling and observing different lifestyles, I’ve realized something truly simple: it doesn’t matter where you are, but who you’re with. If you’re surrounded by the people you love and sharing a good laugh, consider yourself incredibly fortunate. That’s really what life is all about, isn’t it?
