As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in media and entertainment, I must say that the recent incident on This Morning featuring Josie Gibson and Lucien Laviscount was both entertaining and a tad awkward. It’s not every day you see a presenter get all flustered over a handsome guest, especially one as charming as Lucien.

As a dedicated fan of “This Morning,” I must say that I was taken aback by the recent incident involving Josie Gibson and Lucien Laviscount. It seems that during their interview, Josie appeared to be ‘flustered,’ which is somewhat unusual for her. While I’ve always admired her professionalism on-screen, it’s only human to have off days, and I believe we can all relate to feeling a bit overwhelmed at times.

On the show on Friday, the presenter (aged 39) and co-host Craig Doyle (53 years old) had a conversation with the charming actor (32), discussing the latest season of Emily In Paris. During their chat, Craig playfully remarked, “You’re too good-looking for my taste!”

Yet, upon Lucien adopting Alfie’s thick cockney accent, an embarrassed Josie stumbled on her speech, even resorting to fanning herself due to her sudden fluster and agitation.

Trying hard to maintain her composure, Josie chuckled anxiously and offered a heartfelt apology, as Lucien joined in with an amused smile.

As the conversation drew to a close, Craig gestured towards Lucien’s noticeably large arms and commented: “I’ve just now noticed those biceps, and it’s not something I find appealing.”

To which Josie cut in: ‘You’ve only just noticed them!’

Engaging with X, previously recognized as Twitter, I found myself at the center of attention after my recent actions. Fellow followers swiftly picked up on my agitation and playfully teased me for it, highlighting the obvious signs of fluster.

They shared: ‘Aww look at josie getting all flustered; ‘Josie, stop dribbling.’

‘I like Josie but is she ok today?’; ‘Good Lord, Josie’s got a wide on for this lad.’

Following an initial performance that fell short of impressing viewers due to an awkward dance routine, the show got underway.

Audience members criticized the car-crash introduction as the most dismal opening to a program, with hosts Josie and Craig demonstrating questionable dance routines while discussing their preferred ’90s songs.

With Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell by her side, Josie started the program, greeting everyone: “Hello and welcome to today’s This Morning!” Craig then clarified, “We have a special reason for this, we’re launching your Friday with some 90s music! First up, Rhythm of the Night, one of Josie’s favorites.”

Moving rhythmically, Josie exclaimed, “I love ’90s music, it’s simply amazing!” Then she turned to Tim and Gyles to inquire about their preferred songs from that time period.

Following their choice of “Soul to Soul” by Back to Life and “Getting Jiggy With It” by Will Smith as their favorite tracks during that period, Craig expressed his preference for rock music over pop, stating he was more of a rock enthusiast.

At that point in my life, I was immersed in a deeply musical journey. There wasn’t any pop music around, it felt like Nirvana itself, especially the iconic song ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’.

The track then blared out loudly in the studio, with Craig, Josie, Gyles and Tim then proceeding to jump wildly around.

As I delved deeper into the excitement, Josie suddenly stepped in and called a halt, puffing out, “Hold on, not this time! It’s simply overwhelming!”

Viewers also found it overwhelming and quickly flocked to what was once known as Twitter to voice their displeasure regarding the segment.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
