In today’s world of social media, being blocked on an app like Instagram is a harsher rejection than simply being unfollowed.
And over the weekend, the increasingly bitter Beckham family feud offered us both variants.
Rumors started circulating that David and Victoria Beckham had unfollowed their son Brooklyn on Instagram, the popular social media app used by over three billion people.
Cruz Beckham, 20, was upset by reports that his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, had unfollowed him on Instagram. He posted that his parents would never do that, explaining they had been blocked from seeing his account, and so had he.
It was baffling why Brooklyn, who was so sensitive and easily affected, would act that way – especially during Christmas. It was a sure way to deeply disappoint his parents.

As for Nicola, they’ve given up on trying to repair their relationship with her. It doesn’t seem likely she’ll change her mind, so they’re now focusing their attention on Brooklyn.
According to an insider, Brooklyn and Nicola are intensifying their stance on the issue, seemingly heading further into conflict. However, the source insists they remain a united and strong couple.
