Unfortunately, it seems there won’t be a second season for the popular show on Disney+. Despite the fact that the first season was met with overwhelming praise, garnering almost perfect ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, it appears that the series is not set to continue.
In a recent interview to publicize the movie “Karate Kid: Legends”, Aramis Knight, who plays Red Dagger in Mr. Marvel, hinted at the possible end of the character. When asked if viewers can expect more of Red Dagger, Knight suggested that it might not be the case, though he admits he’s unsure about a potential second season for Ms. Marvel. The passing of time since Season 1 has led him to believe that another season may be unlikely.
When inquired about the possibility of another Ms. Marvel season, Knight replied, “I don’t believe so, though it’s been quite some time since we last heard, so I can’t say for certain. To tell you the truth, I would be thrilled to be involved. I was supposed to contribute in various ways, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned due to some logistical issues, COVID-related concerns, and creative matters as well. However, that show was fantastic, and I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for a call.
Knight added, “[Iman Vellani’s] definitely got my number on speed dial, that’s for sure.”
