This Air Jordan 4 PE Celebrates San Diego State University

In 2018, San Diego State University entered into an agreement with Jordan Brand, making them one of eight men’s basketball teams under the Jordan Brand at that time. Since then, the university has achieved several impressive milestones, such as reaching the championship game of the NCAA Tournament in 2023. This year, they had the opportunity to compete against another Jordan Brand school, the University of North Carolina, during the First Four round. However, they were unable to secure a victory over the Tar Heels in this matchup.

Prior to their season-ending loss, the Jumpman team gifted the SDSU team with an exclusive Air Jordan 4 PE, enriching the “First Class” series we’ve discussed earlier. Now, the English Sole team has provided a detailed analysis of this unique sneaker. The shoe features multiple shades of gray, while an SDSU-emblazoned hangtag and dubrae gleam in golden hues. Gold accents continue throughout the hardware used in the shoe, including the Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, where a crystal basketball is depicted as Michael Jordan soars.

It’s highly unlikely that the Air Jordan 4 “San Diego State University” colorway, being designated as a PE exclusively for the school, will ever reach the general public. As per English Sole, fewer than 50 pairs were manufactured and given only to individuals connected with the university.
