Oh, what a delightful day of reading! As an ardent fan of the extraordinary lives of the famous and the not-so-famous, I find myself utterly captivated by these tales that unfold before my eyes.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself drawn less to the charm of my own hand-me-downs and more to the vibrancy of my children’s wardrobes. In essence, they serve as an endless source of inspiration for my fashion choices!

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I recently found myself donning a captivating pair of shimmering silver thigh-high boots at a vibrant summer event hosted by Magic Mike Live in London’s West End.

These items are possessed by Violet, her fifteen-year-old daughter. ‘I took them from her,’ she confides in me at The Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino.

‘The boots are for my daughter to wear to the Taylor Swift Eras tour.’

8 Out of 10 Cats’ leading personality remarks: ‘Now we can share a closet, but she doesn’t seem too keen on my fashion choices.’

Charles sparks a revolution as Palace garage goes green

At Sandringham, King Charles has brought in about 3,000 sheep to serve as a natural means of providing fertilizer. What’s new here, I can reveal, is that King Charles is working towards making Buckingham Palace more environmentally friendly.

Not by letting sheep roam its 39-acre garden, but by making its fleet of cars greener.

Despite the King having transformed his Aston DB6 to run on excess English white wine and cheese byproduct years ago, he has not yet mandated that “cheese and wine” be the official royal energy source.

Instead, he’s planning the installation of 27 electric charging points at the Palace.

Suki enjoys Swift success

According to reports, Suki Waterhouse excitedly confirmed that her dreams had indeed become a reality when her friend Taylor Swift invited her to kick off the concert at Wembley Stadium this coming weekend.

Before making her stage debut, Suki (who hails from London) hosted a listening party in Soho for her friends to get an early listen of her latest album, “Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin”.

Since 2016, the actress and model, aged 32, who shares a five-month-old daughter with Robert Pattinson, the Batman star, has been working on a pop music career.

Her single Good Looking became a hit on video app TikTok in 2022.

Stanley meets a fan

As a lifelong fan of The Hunger Games trilogy, I was absolutely thrilled to have a chance encounter with one of its stars, Stanley Tucci, at Kalamata airport in Greece this week. Spotting him casually flipping through his book, Taste, brought back fond memories of watching his captivating performance as Caesar Flickerman in the movies. It’s always fascinating to see artists like Tucci stepping outside their on-screen personas and immersing themselves in other creative pursuits. As a fellow traveler who shares a passion for food and literature, I couldn’t help but feel a connection with him amidst the bustling airport crowd.

‘She was so engrossed she failed to look up when he walked past,’ a fellow traveller tells me.

‘Tucci stepped up and tapped her on her shoulder. She was, unsurprisingly, somewhat startled.’

Susie pays tribute to late Dad

As a voracious reader with a deep appreciation for etymology, I was thrilled to learn that Susie Dent, the beloved Countdown wordsmith, has published her debut novel this week. Guilty By Definition is a heartfelt tribute to her father, Colin, who passed away last year. Having lost my own father at a young age, I can only imagine the emotional intensity that must have gone into crafting such a poignant work. The novel’s dedication serves as a powerful reminder of the profound impact our parents have on our lives and the enduring influence they leave behind. Kudos to Susie for channeling her grief into a compelling narrative, and I eagerly await the opportunity to delve into its pages.

‘I’m really sorry that he won’t get to read it,’ says Britain’s best-known lexicographer, 59.

I recalled writing a brief story that got published in our school magazine, and how incredibly proud my father was about it.

‘Throughout my life, he said, ‘You should try and write stories’. So I just thought, ‘OK – maybe I should go for it’.’
