The long-standing feud between the two families has become much more obvious since Adam excluded them from his wedding and his mother wasn’t invited to Holly’s bachelorette party.

With the family conflict continuing, Adam’s mother, Caroline, expressed her hopeful wish for resolution in 2026. She shared thoughtful messages on Instagram on Wednesday, hinting at the ongoing situation.
Caroline wasn’t allowed to attend her son and Holly Ramsay’s wedding this weekend due to a long-running and difficult family disagreement.
She shared a post on social media from another user, stating: ‘I deserve a year that doesn’t hurt’.
I’m not going to pretend this year was easy. I experienced a significant loss that has changed me deeply, and I’m not going to fake happiness about it. I won’t try to act like everything is okay when it’s not.
I’m not making any predictions about 2026 being a good year. Instead, I’m hoping for recovery and that I won’t experience this level of heartbreak or hardship ever again.
I’m hoping for genuine peace—the kind where I can simply live and breathe without constantly struggling. I really need a year without pain.
She shared again: ‘Just a friendly reminder that you don’t need to make New Year’s resolutions, big decisions, or grand announcements.’
‘You can just set some sweet intentions and take each day as it comes.’
Caroline, a mother devastated by heartbreak, was overwhelmed with grief after missing her son’s wedding on Saturday – a day that should have been filled with joy.
Everyone in the Peaty family was excluded from the wedding except for Adam’s sister, Beth, who was a bridesmaid along with the bride’s sisters, Megan and Tilly.

It seems surprising that Gordon and Tana, as parents themselves, aren’t showing more understanding towards Caroline, Mark, and their family.

According to a family friend who spoke with The Sun last month, Bethany has always been close to Adam and is attracted to the glamorous world of celebrity. She’s become captivated by the excitement and luxury of that lifestyle.
She was thrilled to be at the bachelorette party, especially since she got to spend time with Victoria Beckham, and she was eager to share the experience with her friends.
‘She really fits in with the glam world – she’s blonde and very pretty.’
It’s been so hard watching everything unfold. Speaking from the house where Adam and I grew up, I told the Mail on Sunday that I refuse to let this hurt me again. Honestly, it feels like Holly and Adam have completely broken my heart.
Just before entering the abbey with his five-year-old son, George, Adam received a heartbreaking text message from his aunt Louise, who hadn’t been invited to the wedding either.
She wrote a message expressing her hope that he would never experience the same level of pain he had caused their mother, and acknowledging that, despite everything, she still loved him. She ended by expressing her disappointment in both of them.
