There isn’t a new episode of Tracker on tonight (when will the show return?)
As a die-hard fan of Tracker, I must say this news has left me reeling like a fish out of water! I was all geared up for another thrilling episode tonight, but alas, it seems I’ll have to content myself with rewatching old episodes on Paramount+.
I’m sorry for any disappointment, but we’d love to share some exciting news: A new installment of the popular series, Tracker, is on its way! However, there’s been a bit of gloom in this update.
Tonight, December 8th, there won’t be a fresh installment of Tracker season 2. The last episode served as the fall finale, which seems fitting given its grand scale. Fear not, we’ll avoid any spoilers for those still catching up!
Currently, we’re in a break between seasons, often called the winter hiatus. This pause provides an excellent opportunity for viewers who might have missed some episodes to catch up. At present, the episodes can be found on Paramount+.
There is a Tracker rerun, but it’s later than usual
In a little bit of good news, you can tune into a rerun of the series. It’s not at the usual time, though. CBS still has The Equalizer season 5 fall finale to air, and rather than run a rerun and then a new episode, The Equalizer is being pulled forward to 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, following a new 90-minute episode of 60 Minutes.
After the airing of “The Tracker,” “The Equalizer” series will be shown next. If you’re eager to watch it beforehand, feel free to revisit any episode of the show on Paramount+ at your convenience.
When will Tracker return with new episodes?
Unfortunately, I must share some disappointing news. It appears that there will be no fresh installment of “Tracker” in January 2025. Contrary to what you might have heard, CBS is indeed reviving certain series in January, but the Sunday shows, including “Tracker“, have been temporarily suspended for now.
It’s understandable why this arrangement works, given that Sundays in January are typically packed with significant events. For instance, CBS has an AFC Championship game to broadcast, which often leads to preempting regular episodes due to other important games on different networks. Additionally, there are award shows scheduled for Sundays, not forgetting the Super Bowl itself. Typically, CBS delays Sunday premieres until after the Super Bowl weekend, a decision that benefits us viewers.
The tracker is due back on Sunday, February 16th. Typically, the program airs at 8 PM Eastern and Pacific Time, with occasional exceptions only in the event of a significant emergency that requires preemption.
On Sundays starting from February, I’m thrilled to share that there’s a fresh lineup in store for us! Following the conclusion of ‘Tracker’, we’ll dive into a brand new medical detective series titled ‘Watson’. To cap off our Sunday evenings, ‘The Equalizer’ will bring an exciting end to the week. Can’t wait!
Tracker returns on Sunday, Feb. 16 with new episodes on CBS. Until then, catch up on Paramount+.
