As a seasoned gamer who’s had his fair share of late-night gaming sessions interrupted by the allure of gripping TV dramas, I must say I appreciate CBS’s decision to take a break this Friday. After all, who needs SWAT when there are bargains to be found and family to catch up with?
Typically, Friday evenings are reserved for CBS’s schedule of dramas. However, that won’t be the norm this coming Friday, November 29th. This time around, there will be no new episode of SWAT or any other dramas on their usual schedule.
It’s quite logical that there would be a break tonight. It’s Black Friday, when many people are out shopping for bargains, or catching up with their families during the extended weekend. Some might just need a moment to unwind after all the Thanksgiving excitement!
On the Friday following Thanksgiving, many broadcast networks like CBS choose to pause their usual programming. However, don’t worry, fans of SWAT can still look forward to more episodes airing in 2024.
What’s on instead of SWAT tonight?
Typically, we see repeats when there’s no special programming, but that’s not happening tonight. Tonight, CBS is devoting their schedule to the show called “Blue Bloods>”.
We’ll start off the evening with a replay of Blue Bloods Season 14, Episode 11. There will also be a special event to honor the 293 episodes in the series, which will conclude in a few weeks. Following this special, we’ll air another rerun, specifically Season 14, Episode 12.
When will SWAT return with new episodes?
Great news! You won’t have to wait much longer for the fresh installments of SWAT. The show is set to resume on Friday, December 6th at 8 p.m., Eastern and Pacific Time. Get ready for a night packed with exciting new developments on the network.
20-Squad is called upon to examine a possible instance of an “honor crime,” following the assault of two school pupils. It’s essential to delve into this subject matter, given its prevalence in communities worldwide.
In addition, Hondo has his own individual plotline developed. Actress Rochelle Aytes will feature in an upcoming episode to delve into Hondo and Nichelle’s relationship. This episode will depict their first parental disagreement, marking a significant milestone for any parents. Although most parents often find themselves on the same wavelength in numerous situations, there are instances where contrasting upbringings and life experiences can cause differing opinions when it comes to child-rearing.
It was assured that Hondo wouldn’t encounter any personal turmoil this year; we interpreted this to mean they expected Hondo and Nichelle to resolve their differences. So, it’ll surely be interesting to watch how their relationship unfolds in the upcoming episode.
As a gamer, I found myself immersed in a scenario where two characters, unfortunately, fell victim to a gruesome attack. The 20-Squad, my in-game team, is now grappling with the possibility of an honor killing. Simultaneously, Hondo and Nichelle, fellow gamers, are experiencing their initial parenting disagreement as they search for the ideal daycare solution for their virtual family.
SWAT returns on Friday, Dec. 6 at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
