The Witcher 4 is Apparently Due in 2027, Suggesting It Could Be a Next-Gen Release
It seems that The Witcher 4 might not arrive until at least two years from now, as CD Projekt RED has stated they won’t launch the game by the end of 2026. This suggests a release date possibly in 2027 or later, implying it may be designed for next-generation gaming platforms.
Despite not intending to launch “The Witcher 4” by the end of 2026, the studio remains motivated by this financial target. However, they are not ready to disclose an exact release date for the game, and have chosen to keep other details about “The Witcher 4” under wraps as well. (Source: PC Gamer)
As a gaming enthusiast, I must say, it’s not unimaginable that we might get our hands on The Witcher 4 as early as 2028, given that delays are always a possibility. If we’re lucky, we could be playing it by 2027, but keep in mind that’s the earliest we might see it. With next-gen consoles expected to make their debut around the same time, who knows? We might just be battling monsters and making tough decisions in The Witcher 4 on the next Xbox or PS6!
