The Wiggles star Evie Ferris has announced her engagement to group backup dancer Zane Powell.
The popular children’s performer, age 28, announced some happy news on social media Wednesday, posting a collection of sweet and touching photos.
A beautiful photo shows the heartwarming moment Zane proposed to Evie on a gorgeous beach.
Another photo showed the happy couple in a sweet embrace, with Evie showing off her stunning diamond ring to the camera.
The third photo showed the couple kissing passionately, celebrating their special moment.
Evie captioned the gallery with some exciting words: ‘Best Christmas yet!! 17.12.25’
Several of Evie’s bandmates took to the comments section to extend their congratulations.
‘Okay, I’m sobbing again. love you both so much and forever,’ gushed fellow Wiggle Lucia Field.
‘Yayyyy congratulations guys!! We are soo excited,’ added John Pearce.
‘Soooo beautiful. Congratulations you are both such beautiful people,’ Lachlan Gillespie chimed in.
A TikTok video captured an uncomfortable interaction between Evie Ferris and Tsehay Hawkins of The Wiggles in 2023, as noticed by a sharp-eyed fan.
The footage shows supporting Wiggle Evie dancing on a picnic set with her bandmates.
Oh my gosh, it happened! Tsehay, my absolute FAVORITE Wiggle, just appeared right in front of Evie! For a second, I couldn’t even see Evie because Tsehay was perfectly positioned in the way – it was magical, honestly! I totally gasped. It was like Tsehay knew I was watching and wanted to make sure I got a good look at her. I’m still reeling!
Evie reappeared, looking a little frustrated with what had just happened.
Erin, a devoted fan, shared the video with the caption, ‘I love this! Look at the little yellow chick’s expression – even wiggles show emotion!’

Evie joined the Aussie children’s group in 2021.
The Wiggles started in 1991 with Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), Murray Cook (Red Wiggle), Jeff Fatt (Purple Wiggle), and Greg Page (Yellow Wiggle) as the original members.
Anthony Field is the only original member still in the band.
