The White Lotus confirms exact release date for season 3

As a devoted fan of Mike White’s masterful storytelling, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of The White Lotus! With its witty dialogue, intricate character development, and knack for keeping audiences on the edge of their seats, it has become an unmissable staple in my television rotation.

Sky has officially confirmed the release date for The White Lotus season three.

The critically acclaimed drama series produced by Mike White is set to make a comeback, premiering its first episode on February 17, 2025. In the UK, you can catch it on Sky or stream it via NOW.

The upcoming third season is set at a fresh White Lotus resort in Thailand, introducing another group of hotel patrons for us to meet. This diverse cast includes Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan, Walton Goggins from ‘Fallout’, and Aimee Lou Wood from ‘Sex Education’.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t hide my excitement seeing a familiar face back in the series! Natasha Rothwell, known as Belinda from the White Lotus resort in Hawaii, is here again, but this time she’s made a move to the Thai resort. In a fresh teaser trailer, she shares that she’ve been transferred on an exchange program. Can’t wait to see what unfolds!

As I gaze into the eyes of the charming spa colleague, I can’t help but sense a flicker of possibilities. In my mind, I whisper to myself, “It feels like something wonderful might just unfold from here.

Moving forward, we meet the character Wood, portrayed as a carefree individual named Chelsea, who is vacationing at the resort alongside her partner Rick (played by Goggins), who happens to be older.

As Chelsea suggests I give the stress management meditation a go, I must admit my hesitation. When it comes to unwinding, I prefer more traditional methods. Regarding the gluten-free rice and coconut balls at the hotel restaurant, they don’t quite hit the spot for me – I’m more of a hearty meal kind of guy.

Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Monaghan are portrayed as old friends who come together for a getaway, yet their bond appears tense.

In simpler terms, Coon’s character Laurie remarks that Jaclyn, as portrayed by Monaghan, seems to thrive on male attention excessively, which appears unfortunate.

Currently, Parker Posey portrays Victoria, the somewhat discontented matriarch of the Ratliff family. This family includes Timothy, a successful businessman played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, their sons Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), and their daughter Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook).

In a sad tone, Victoria mentions that her diazepam and lorazepam were stolen, leaving her with no other option but to resort to drinking in order to fall asleep.

The trailer ends with a montage of clips, showing their vacations ending in tragedy, with guests running away scared, a masked gunman on the loose in the hotel and a body bag being taken away.

Chelsea, with a smile on her face, says, “I came really close to not making it today, but luckily the hotel room didn’t cost us anything, right honey? That was quite a relief,” to which her boyfriend replies, “You truly did an amazing job, sweetheart.

In a little over nine years, on February 16, 2025, The White Lotus season three will make its debut! If you can’t wait that long, seasons 1 and 2 are already streaming on NOW.
