The popular HBO series, The White Lotus, has added a well-known actress from the hit movie The Hangover to its cast. She recently gained attention on social media for sharing photos of herself in bikinis.
Heather Graham, age 56, will be joining the cast of the popular show for its fourth season.
Since The White Lotus is filmed at warm-weather resorts and often shows characters in swimwear, Graham’s frequent posts of himself in a bathing suit seem like a smart way to fit the show’s aesthetic.
Aimee Lou Wood, Leslie Bibb, and Patrick Schwarzenegger have all worn swimsuits in past seasons of the show.
Graham will have a recurring role on the new season though it is not yet known who she will play.
Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, Tobias Santelmann, Frida Gustavsson, and Laura Smet have also joined the cast.
The show from Mike White already has a great cast, including Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Max Greenfield, AJ Michalka, and Kumail Nanjiani, as well as other talented actors.
I’m so excited to hear that filming is finally starting next April! It’s going to be right in the south of France, not far from Cannes – I can practically picture it already! Deadline reported the news, and I’ve been following it closely.
This year’s festival will run from May 12 to May 23.
The White Lotus is a TV series where each season follows a different group of wealthy guests at a luxurious Four Seasons resort, exploring their dramatic experiences.
Oh my gosh, each season is just… chef’s kiss! The first one, Hawaii, it wasn’t just beautiful scenery, it really dug into the whole rich vs. poor thing, and it was brilliant. Then they moved to Italy for season two, and honestly? It was so much more than just pasta and romance. They tackled some really complex issues around sex and power. And Thailand! Season three completely blew my mind. It wasn’t just about the exotic location, it was a deep dive into life, death, and this incredible Eastern philosophy. Seriously, each season is a masterpiece!
This comes after Graham talked her beauty tricks with UsWeekly.
The Hangover actress manages her diet carefully, avoiding sweets at home because she used to have a strong sugar craving. She does occasionally indulge in a red velvet cookie, though.
The woman with blonde hair stays active by doing yoga and taking brisk walks to reach her daily step goal. She also practices meditation to help her focus and feel calm.
She’s also chosen to avoid surgical procedures, preferring to age naturally rather than risk an unnatural appearance from plastic surgery. However, she does use Botox and regularly gets laser treatments.
I recently had the chance to chat with Naomi Watts, and we covered a lot of ground! She opened up about her personal life, including why she never chose to get married or have children. Of course, we spoke about her beautiful relationship with Heath Ledger, and she also shared some lovely details about her current partner, an Italian director. It was a really honest and insightful conversation.
At the start of her career in her twenties she made some bad diet decisions.
‘I had unhealthy eating habits. In my early 20s, I was obsessed with sugar. I’d be like, “I don’t want to have dinner, so I’m going to eat eight candy bars or a pint of ice cream,”‘ she admitted.
I used to react to unhealthy meals by completely avoiding regular food, and for a while, I actually lived on frozen yogurt for both lunch and dinner. Thankfully, starting to meditate helped me develop healthier eating habits.
Now she has her sweets only once in a while.
‘I recently had a birthday, and [was sent] Beverly Hills Cookies,’ she said of the new fancy cookie shop that sells red velvet cookies and Reese’s peanut butter cookies.
‘I can have two cookies. But I can’t keep it in my house because I don’t have any control.’
She compared the situation to a scene from Sex and the City where Miranda had a craving for brownies. She kept eating them, even after throwing them away and trying to deter herself with soap.
She makes daily exercise a priority. ‘Your health is everything,’ she explained. ‘It’s shocking to see talented performers struggling with illness, and I feel incredibly grateful to be healthy. That’s more important to me than my career or anything else,’ she said.
She doesn’t use Ozempic. While she understands why people are drawn to it – many call it fantastic – she worries that it hasn’t been used long enough for us to fully understand any potential long-term health risks.
‘I’m just going more for working out and dieting.’
