By January 2024, “Blinding Lights” had achieved an impressive milestone of 4 billion streams on Spotify. Upon its debut, it claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks and made history as the first song to remain in the top 10 for a full year. Since then, it has been awarded the diamond certification by the RIAA.
