There’s now a release date for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3.
Following the success of The Walking Dead, Dead City is one of the new series expanding the universe. It centers on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they navigate a dangerous, isolated Manhattan after the zombie apocalypse.
Entertainment Weekly has announced that season 3 of The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on July 26th. Along with this news, they’ve shared a first look at the new cast members through preview images, which you can find below.
The premiere date and new images have been revealed for Dead City, and it’s been confirmed the show will feature an episode set in an alternate reality. This version of New York is drastically different – couples are together and zombies aren’t present. This is a bold move for the returning AMC series, which also promises a change by finally showing Maggie and Negan working together as true allies.
