The Voice UK coach REVEALED after LeAnn Rimes quit as ITV hires US superstar with link to Beyoncé for new series

The Voice UK have recruited a former X Factor judge to become the show’s latest superstar coach. 

It is known that Kelly Rowland, 44, from Destiny’s Child, has joined the extended run of the popular ITV program, taking over from LeAnn Rimes, 42, who left this year following a single season.

The award-winning musician, once part of a band with Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, expresses great excitement about joining this new program. Previously, she has judged on shows like The X Factor UK in 2011 and The Voice Australia.

Kelly teams up with established panelists will.i.am, aged 50, Tom Jones (84 years old), and McFly band members Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher (both 39 years old). These individuals are all coming back to the program as auditions commence in the UK this summer.

Previously, singer Kelly was part of a judging team in the UK on The X Factor alongside Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, and Tulisa Contostavlos. Later, she found success on the American version of the program, working with music executive Simon Cowell after two years.

The coaching team is equally excited, with Will.i.am expressing particular enthusiasm. He believes that Kelly’s addition is one of the most significant events in recent years.

For more than thirteen years, “The Voice UK,” hosted by Emma Willis, has been airing on ITV. During this time, notable artists like Meghan Trainor, Olly Murs, Jessie J, and Anne-Marie have graced its panel.

For a number of years, both will.i.am and Tom Jones have continued as the longest-serving judges on this show, joining it right from the start.

Last month, it became clear that LeAnn had decided to depart from the show following just one season, in order to concentrate on her professional pursuits in the United States and take on the role of a mentor alongside Sheryl Crow for the American adaptation.

In the forthcoming 14th series, Danny and Tom McFly are set to collaborate again, having triumphed in the competition with their act Ava Mannings last season.

At a music after-party, footage showed Danny and Maura having a heartfelt hug, causing quite the stir in their shared marriage with Georgia Horsley.

The pair, who have a shared son named Cooper, haven’t posted images of one another on their social media accounts since the event, although it’s assumed they continue to reside together in their recently acquired residence in London.

2024 marked the year that bassist Danny became a part of The Voice UK. Last year, he made an appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and was ultimately declared the “King of the Jungle.” It was during this stint on the show that Danny crossed paths with Maura.

In an Instagram post, he expressed regret for any harm done and admitted that he was sorry for placing his family in such a difficult situation.
