The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev reunites with co-stars
As a dedicated fan of “The Vampire Diaries” who has spent countless hours immersed in the supernatural world of Mystic Falls, I must say this reunion of Nina Dobrev, Candice King, and Kat Graham feels like a nostalgia-induced dream come true. These three actresses brought the show’s intricate plotlines and captivating characters to life, and their bond off-screen is as enchanting as their on-screen relationships.
Actors from the hit TV series “The Vampire Diaries” on The CW, including Nina Dobrev, Candice King, and Kat Graham, had a delightful get-together when they participated in a fan gathering.
Last week, the three collaborated at the “I Was Feeling Festive 2” convention held in Covington, Georgia, often recognized as the stand-in for Mystic Falls, Virginia – the setting of the popular supernatural television series.
After attending a panel and mingling with enthusiasts of the teen drama at the convention, Dobrev, King, and Graham got together the next day and posted a video on Instagram set to Simple Plan’s track ‘I’m Simply a Kid’.
Embracing an old TikTok craze, they reenacted a photo from their series, and the current video momentarily switched to the nostalgic snapshot from before.
“We’re still just kids,” Dobrev captioned the video, adding a white heart emoji.
“Love you girls so much!!!!!!” Graham commented with several red heart emojis.
Between the years 2009 to 2017, the show “The Vampire Diaries” was broadcast, featuring Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, a 16-year-old character who had lost her parents in a car accident and developed a romantic relationship with Stefan Salvatore, portrayed by Paul Wesley.
The connection between characters deepens into a love triangle when Stefan’s elder sibling Damon (Ian Somerhalder) comes back to Mystic Falls, with the plan of reacquainting himself with their former lover Katherine Pierce. Interestingly, Katherine is also Elena’s look-alike.
In the show, King portrayed Elena’s friend, the vampire Caroline Forbes, while Graham took on the role of Elena’s friend Bonnie Bennett, a witch.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but marvel at how the game series I adore has exploded into a multifaceted empire, spanning various forms of media. Not only that, but it’s given birth to two captivating spin-offs – “The Originals” and “Legacies”. These intriguing stories unfold not just on our screens, but right here on The CW.
