She first found fame appearing on The Undateables.
Despite not requiring the agency’s assistance, Fatima Timbo demonstrated this by getting married to her partner Alan Laszczak in a grand wedding ceremony held in Cornwall on Sunday. The event beautifully combined their diverse cultural backgrounds, being of Sierra Leonean and Polish descent.
At age 28, the comedian appeared remarkable as she donned two breathtaking wedding dresses during the ceremony, where her dear friend and TV personality, Meryl Williams, was present.
As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but gush over the ethereal beauty of her debut ensemble! It was a striking white satin gown adorned with Bardot sleeves, complemented by intricate cut-out details that accentuated the bodice, creating an irresistible allure.
She added to the ensemble with an ornate pearl necklace and a lace-adorned veil.
Later, the person from Don’t Look Down transformed into a strapless lace dress with a long trailing train, and spent the evening celebrating with dear ones, as they all partied together.

In the photograph, Fats was stunning as she struck several poses alongside Meryl, both radiating beauty. Meryl, too, appeared captivating in her elegant lilac dress featuring a cape and a pleated skirt.
30-year-old Meryl posted highlights from an extraordinary wedding day on her Instagram, adding a collection of images on Monday accompanied by the comment: ‘Most Wonderful Wedding I’ve Ever Attended 🌠’
Oh my goodness, I can’t even begin to express how thrilled I was to be a part of your magical day, Fatstimbo and Alanlaszczak! Witnessing the two of you in that state of pure joy, together, was beyond breathtakingly beautiful! It truly feels like such an honor to have been there to share this special moment with you both. 💛👰🤵💕
I am eternally thankful that our lives intersected. May your journey be adorned with an abundance of love, joy, and unforgettable moments throughout your lifetimes.
Both Fats and Meryl were born with achondroplasia, the most common form of short-limbed dwarfism.
2018 marked the rise of TikTok sensation Fats, who initially gained popularity from appearing on the reality show “The Undateables.” This program focuses on singles dealing with disabilities, as they register with a dating agency to locate compatible partners.
She announced her engagement in May 2024 after her boyfriend of four years popped the question.
Photographer Alan, whom they hadn’t encountered during the television program, put forth a proposal during the couple’s amorous excursion to Thailand.

Fats explained that she and Alan, who lives with cerebral palsy, share a unique understanding due to their shared experiences of living with disabilities.
On the Loose Women show last year, she shared: “He’s fantastic, he’s a true gentleman – everything I desire in a partner. Since we both have disabilities, we share an understanding of one another. I enjoy being on-camera, while he prefers to work behind it, which makes our relationship harmonious.
Regarding Alan’s suggestion, Fats commented: “Let me share with you the actual incident. I came across a video on TikTok showing someone being proposed to during the final day of their vacation.
I asked him, ‘It’s been four years and there’s still no engagement ring? What’s happening?’ I was feeling a bit frustrated, as I thought to myself, ‘This seems suspicious.’
He suggested a walk on the beach, and as we reached there, he told me to leave because he thought I was angry with him. When I turned around, he had dropped down on one knee.
Previously, Fats made it clear that she dislikes the term ‘dwarf’. Instead, much like others, she prefers to be referred to as a ‘little person’.
Ever since gracing the screens of The Undateables, I’ve been hooked! Not only did she captivate me there, but her star has continued to rise. She’s made appearances in thrilling shows like Don’t Look Down, and even had the honor to serve as a commentator at the electrifying 2024 Paris Paralympics – moments I simply couldn’t miss!
Fatima boasts an impressive following of around 2.9 million on TikTok and over 300,000 on Instagram. Known for her side-splitting comedic sketches, she doesn’t shy away from poking fun at herself.
Her partner, Alan, too enjoys using social media and documents his health and fitness progression, being a person living with cerebral palsy.

In a conversation with Daily Mail in 2024, Fats shared that she originally refused to be part of The Undateables. She explained her reasons, saying, “I didn’t care for the title at all, which is why I initially said no.
However, my thoughts shifted to consider the broader perspective. At that time, I was only twenty years old, believing I could discover true affection.
As a wellness advocate, I was struck by an intriguing moment during a television show called “The Undateables,” where I encountered a Black individual with dwarfism. The idea of facilitating similar experiences for others sparked within me, and I decided to take action. Consequently, I reached out to the production team with the hope of making a difference in someone else’s life.
Being truthful about the matter, it was truly an enjoyable experience for me. Despite what many might say, affirming that you’re not unattractive to potential partners, I can personally attest to that fact!
I’m thankful for having gone there, as it allowed me to express myself and kick off my adventure. I can honestly say I accomplished something I’m genuinely proud of.
