The 30-year-old TV star, who won the popular BBC One show last year with Leanne Quigley, announced the good news on Instagram on Monday.
The sweet video shows the couple, who got married in September 2023, enjoying a sunset beach walk with their dog, and sharing pictures of their upcoming baby.
Shannon and Jake are excited to be expecting a baby! Shannon wrote ‘Baby Brown’ in the sand, and Jake announced their due date as November 26th.
To the tune of Noah Kahan’s song “Forever,” the couple was spotted happily embracing and Shannon visibly showed off her baby bump.
Captioning the post, Jake penned: ‘Our next chapter, Baby Brown November 2026.’
The heartwarming announcement received lots of reactions from Jake’s fans and friends in the entertainment industry, including some of his co-stars from ‘The Traitors’.
His fellow winner Leanne Quigley wrote: ‘Over the moon.’
Freddy Fraser wrote a message expressing his happiness for the couple, saying they deserve all the good things in life and will be wonderful parents!
Minah Shannon posted a message of support, saying ‘cannot wait for the best chapter of your life,’ and Mollie Pearce added her congratulations.
Jake and Shannon are celebrating good news after a year of speculation about difficulties in their relationship.
Last January, reports surfaced alleging that Jake’s wife discovered he had been meeting with a female coworker just two months after they got married.
According to The Sun, the difficult period in their relationship started a few months after the man’s wedding, when he met a woman at a work party. For the next five months, both he and his friend supported each other through personal problems at home.
According to a source, the couple was having difficulties. He felt very sorry for whatever happened and tried to make amends, but she was unhappy and confronted Jake, telling him the situation needed to end.
‘Jake had become close to this woman and they were hanging out. They confided in each other.
They found comfort and support in their friendship, often relying on each other. However, as time passed, Shannon began to suspect something wasn’t right.
According to the report, Shannon reached out to Jake’s coworker and even spoke with her boyfriend before arranging a meeting with the boyfriend to discuss her concerns over coffee.
The situation reportedly improved when Jake explained to his wife that he and the other woman were just friends. He then apologized and ended the friendship to show his wife respect.
A representative for Jake shared with TopMob that his marriage is his top priority. He and his wife, Shannon, have been together for a decade and are very content.
Shannon and Jake have been a couple since 2015 and got married in September 2023 at the Daffodil Hotel & Spa in Grasmere.
He’s reached new heights, and Shannon was there to support him when he won the £94,600 prize on the BBC show, alongside his longtime friend Leanne.
