The Traitors’ Tyler Smith insists he doesn’t regret going on the show and stands by every decision he made – despite his early exit
Tyler Smith, a participant from the popular BBC competition “The Traitors“, admitted that he holds no regrets about joining the show and remains firm in his decisions made throughout it.
In yesterday’s popular BBC program, there was a thrilling scene where Tyler, aged 29, was expelled because he received the highest number of votes during the council meeting.
However, it was later discovered that he had been loyal all along, a revelation that sent ripples of surprise throughout the castle, causing Livi to leave in anger.
Even though Leon and Leanna, two of his dearest friends, betrayed him at the conference table, he expressed to The Mirror that he had never anticipated being exiled.
In a recent interview, I shared: “I stand firm behind each choice I made throughout this project. Now, the game has been completed – my creation has come to an end. There are no regrets in my book.
Before leaving, Tyler spoke to his fellow actors, expressing, “I simply wanted to tell everyone, this is just a game. Continue on and excel at it! I care for each of you deeply.
While he also shared a moment with his pal Livi, as he whispered to her to ‘stay strong’.
Upon disclosing his true self, the performers were taken aback with a mix of surprise and annoyance, realizing yet again they had eliminated one of their fellow players.
In a heated moment, Liv exclaimed, “Nobody seems to be hearing me. I really need to step outside for a bit,” followed by her hurried departure from the room, visibly upset and shedding tears.
Yet, for two consecutive occasions, she had her focus squarely on Freddie, a fellow Faithful, as her intended companion.
On the show’s episode on Thursday, it was Faithful Lisa who garnered a significant number of votes, leading some viewers to criticize this season’s contestants, saying they seem clueless.
In conversation with X, spectators noted an apparent absence of ‘strategic thinking or collaboration’ prior to the roundtables, and jokingly suggested that they seemed to exhibit a similar forgetfulness as the character Dory from Finding Nemo.
1. “I can’t help but laugh – these so-called fans are clueless! They just don’t get it, it seems. I find their misguided enthusiasm amusing.”
2. “Once again, these supporters are off on the wrong track, and I can’t help but chuckle. Their dedication is admirable, though their understanding could use some work.”
3. “I’m always in awe of the fervor these fans display, even if they often miss the mark. It’s a spectacle that never fails to entertain me.”
1. At the Round Table, there’s no predictable strategy on whom they choose, which makes for an amusing spectacle as the Faithfuls create havoc.
2. It seems like Minah is effortlessly playing the Traitor, simply enjoying the chaos that the Faithfuls are causing.
‘The Faithful group tends to follow the forgetful character Dory from Finding Nemo in their decision-making approach; they often rely on the last person they spoke to before a discussion, showing little evidence of strategic planning or teamwork. In stark contrast, The Traitors are excelling this season.’
It’s amusing to see that many players seem unaware of how to master this game, despite having two previous series as a learning opportunity. They haven’t effectively applied what they learned yet – except for Minah, who’s been playing exceptionally well, even with occasional mistakes.
1. ‘Each evening, it seems like everyone who follows this faith is pointing fingers at one another. Quite a spectacle indeed!’;
2. ‘The devotees have lost their collective mind. Their behavior is so chilly, it’s almost surreal’;
3. ‘Minah is playing an exceptional match here. All you need to do is watch as they start to argue with each other.’;
1. ‘This historic group of followers is particularly troublesome’;
2. ‘The faithfuls this year are incredibly frustrating, just donate the funds to Minah instead’;
3. ‘They’re disintegrating, they can’t hold together, there are actual disputes – this season is a complete shambles.’
‘Linda finds herself fortunate that this particular group of loyalists is so DIVIDED. The traitors don’t need to take any action because these individuals seem to be causing self-destructive conflict among themselves. This group appears to be one of the worst yet. Minah can’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction inside her mind. Linda simply marks her presence in the register.’
After Tyler started targeting Freddie earlier in the week, the sentiment shifted against him, as many believed that his strong connection with the group made him an excellent candidate to play the role of a traitor.
Initially skeptical, Leon and Leanne, his two good friends, eventually came to believe in his wrongdoing. Notably, Leon took the lead in criticizing him during their discussion at the table.
Tyler fiercely attempted to vindicate himself from the crowd, asserting that his name was being carelessly mentioned without cause and urging his fellow believers to monitor Leon and Freddie instead.
He requested: If I am exiled, when I rise to declare myself as a Loyalist, I’d appreciate it if everyone would direct their gaze towards Leon and Freddie. Could you please do this for me?
