Okay, so I just finished watching the latest episodes of The Traitors – “Cut The Head Off The Snake” and “If You’re Going To Come For Me, I’ll Finish You” – and wow! Things are getting intense. If you haven’t seen them yet, be warned – I’m about to potentially spoil everything! You can catch up on Peacock if you want to go in blind, but if you do read on, you’re doing so at your own risk!
Two new episodes of The Traitors recently aired on Peacock, and fans of Big Brother likely found them frustrating. Despite being one of the ‘Faithful’ players, Tiffany Mitchell was eliminated, and with Ian Terry being the first to go this season, all former Big Brother contestants are now out of the competition.
Several of us here enjoy both Big Brother and The Traitors, and we’ve often talked about why players from Big Brother struggle on The Traitors. Now that Tiffany has been eliminated, I have some fresh thoughts on the topic, and I’m hoping future Big Brother contestants on The Traitors will perform better.

Big Brother Players Talk Too Much, And It’s Not The Big Brother House
As a big fan of The Traitors, I really think Tiffany’s downfall was just talking too much. She pretty much laid out who she suspected – naming three potential Traitors – and that immediately made Eric and everyone else suspicious. It feels like if she’d been in Big Brother, she’d have had more time to let things develop naturally. But because the Faithful don’t spend all day and night together, she probably felt pressured to share everything and try to steer the game, which ultimately backfired.
This tactic proved successful on Season 23 of Big Brother, ultimately crowning the first Black winner of the main series. However, it didn’t work on The Traitors due to the limited time available. As Eric pointed out, it appeared Tiffany was attempting to manipulate the Faithful into targeting multiple people over several Roundtables, likely to protect herself for as long as possible. With only a few hours each day for discussion and decision-making, there simply wasn’t enough time for this strategy to fully develop.

They’re Also Playing With A Lot Of People Who Are Unfamiliar With Reality Competition Shows
Players on Season 4 of The Traitors are having a tough time, which often happens when new players unfamiliar with reality TV competitions are thrown into a chaotic situation. We see this a lot in shows like Big Brother, where they frequently cast people – like social media influencers or athletes – who haven’t watched the show before and don’t understand how it works.

Why The Traitors Season 4 Finally Giving The Housewives Some Power Is A Game Changer For The Show
They often struggle with understanding how to handle sensitive information, and they don’t realize that sharing ideas isn’t always a sign of mistrust—sometimes people just want to talk things through. It’s as if they lose sight of the fact that they’re in a game and start treating it like real life.
What’s become clear is that players from Big Brother need to realize The Traitors is a completely different game. It’s more about simply surviving each round than correctly identifying the Traitors. The players who succeed will be the ones who avoid drawing attention to themselves, both as a potential threat to the Traitors and to the other Faithful players. Hopefully, if they keep a low profile, they’ll make it further in the game.

With Peacock TV, you can stream popular shows like The Traitors and content from NBC and Bravo for as low as $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Upgrade to Peacock Premium or Premium Plus for ad-free viewing and the ability to download shows and movies to watch without an internet connection. See the deal here.
Okay, fellow fans of The Traitors, good news! Season two is rolling out on Peacock as part of their 2024 lineup. New episodes drop on Thursdays at 9 p.m. Eastern, but here’s a little tip from someone who likes to watch ASAP: they’ve been releasing episodes a bit early lately, so it might be worth checking the app around 8:30 p.m. just in case you can get a jump on things!
