Rachel Duffy, a co-winner of The Traitors UK season 4, frequently talked about her “FBI training” while at the castle. She claimed she could detect subtle facial cues – micro-expressions – and used this to persuade the other players that specific people were Traitors and should be eliminated.
So, if you didn’t catch the Traitors: Uncloaked aftershow, Rachel spilled the tea about how much training she actually got. Turns out, what we were told wasn’t exactly the full story – they were downplaying things a bit.
It wasn’t quite as bad as when she claimed to be completely loyal, but it was still a lie.

“I really chose my words carefully,” she explained to host Ed Gamble and everyone watching. “I mentioned that I’d been trained by a past FBI agent.”
“That’s correct, but a really loose interpretation of it.”

She explained that the four-month online course felt much shorter than advertised, essentially amounting to a single day of instruction plus an ebook – though it was led by a former FBI agent.
The workshop was on handling tough negotiations, and it involved practicing with 21 people who played particularly challenging roles.
She called her strategy in the game “the art of distraction,” always shifting blame onto others. She did this even when people like Harriet saw through her schemes and intentionally tried to cause trouble, like stirring things up during breakfast.

During the Uncloaked episode, Rachel maintained she never planned to vote for fellow Traitor Stephen Libby. However, Stephen confessed he was considering it when Rachel seemed likely to be eliminated.
He explained that, unlike Rachel, he hadn’t planned his next move. However, he later added that he was very happy with the choice he ultimately made – teaming up with her to win and share the prize.
