The Traitors fans have one major complaint over Secret Traitor reveal

So, The Traitors kept its promise! After the Traitors finished their task, the identity of the secret Traitor was revealed. And it was Fiona, a 62-year-old who works in local government! Both the viewers and Traitors Stephen and Rachel found out in the very beginning of tonight’s episode.

Stephen and Rachel felt a bit nervous and thrilled to be collaborating with Fiona, but not everyone watching shared their enthusiasm about the announcement.

Viewers on social media felt the show revealed the Secret Traitor too soon – the identity was confirmed only five minutes into the fourth episode of the 2026 season.

One fan expressed disappointment that the reveal wasn’t drawn out more, writing on X, “I do wish they’d strung it out a bit longer.” Another user called it “Ridiculous, exposing the secret one this early.”

Someone expressed shock that the secret traitor was revealed, adding that the reveal should have been delayed.

“Damn now what cuz its only ep3?4?” a further viewer questioned.

A fifth commented that it was a “Terrible decision to reveal the secret traitor so soon”.

This week’s episode of The Secret Traitor had a surprise twist: Claudia Winkleman announced the contestants would immediately move into a Round Table discussion after breakfast, instead of saving it for the end of the show.

The show has already thrown two big surprises, changing things up significantly before even reaching the midpoint. Could there be even more unexpected twists to come?
