The Thaumaturge is a Supernatural Isometric RPG Coming to Xbox Series X|S in December

11-bit Studios and Developer Fool’s Theory recently declared that the turn-based isometric RPG titled The Thaumaturge will be available on consoles by December. As stated in the press release, this game boasts a rich historical backdrop and is heavily character-focused.

In this game, you assume the role of the experienced character named Wiktor Szulski, a person who has mastery over natural forces and possesses magical abilities. You will be able to sense nuances in human feelings, and your task involves tracking down creatures inspired by folklore that are lurking around.

Beyond the boundary of our known world reside malevolent beings. Besides dealing with this, Wiktor must grapple with his turbulent history and delve into the mysterious schemes of Rasputin, who wields significant power over the upper echelons of the Polish Imperial Court.

Wiktor has extraordinary abilities that allow him to perceive beyond the norm and subtly influence others for his purposes. He even forms links with enigmatic entities called Salutors. These beings provide significant benefits in strategic battles and detective work, but they also come with their own drawbacks – traits like arrogance, impulsiveness or other weaknesses – which Wiktor takes on. As a result, the powers of the Salutors can be both helpful and harmful.
