Popular YouTube personality Spanian, known for his ‘eshay’ videos, was seen having a Christmas Eve dinner with his girlfriend, 22-year-old Ava Jean Walker, in the stylish Balmain area of Sydney.
He’s clearly enjoying his new, luxurious lifestyle, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by people who criticize him for changing from his more modest beginnings.
The 37-year-old social media personality appeared comfortable and happy while enjoying drinks and a meal with his partner at a warm, intimate restaurant.
I was immediately drawn to Spanian – he just looked so effortlessly cool in a simple white shirt and beige shorts. He was a really expressive talker, constantly using his hands as he chatted with Ava, who looked fantastic herself in a pretty blue patterned top and white shorts. They both just seemed so comfortable and stylish.
They shared a laugh and huddled together over the candlelit table, lost in conversation and clearly enjoying each other’s company.
Spanian relaxed, folding his arms and seeming perfectly content as he enjoyed the romantic evening.

Later that night, Spanian moved from across from Ava to sit next to her, making the atmosphere feel more private and comfortable.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Spanian for comment.
The influencer recently flew to Paris with his new, significantly younger girlfriend. Meanwhile, his wife stayed in Sydney with their six-month-old son, as they are currently separated.
It came out in October that Anthony Lees, a 37-year-old influencer known for his ‘eshay’ persona, had split from his wife, Angela McColl. The separation happened just months after they welcomed their son.
While caring for their five-month-old baby, the kebab shop owner enjoyed a meal of escargots and shared a romantic moment with his new partner, Ava, in Paris.
I was so thrilled to see the video online! It showed them absolutely beaming, laughing and kissing right there in the street at night. And the caption? He called her his ‘misses’ – it was just the sweetest thing and made my heart melt. It feels so good to see them so happy together.
In a separate video, Spanian recorded himself eating snails at a restaurant in Paris, talking about soccer and Snapchat for nearly half a minute.
Andy was excitedly sharing that he documents his adventures – like attending Champions League games and even trying snails – on Snapchat. He was bragging about posting everything for his followers to see.

Just so you know, I’m from both Australia and New Zealand. That’s what I’m known for on Snapchat, and I’m definitely not changing that!
He then claimed to have the ‘fastest-growing Snapchat ever’ in Australia and New Zealand.
The fresh footage also featured his post-rhinoplasty nose for the first time.
In late October, the creator posted a Snapchat story showing his bandaged face after having a nose job and recovering from the procedure.
It was rough, seeing him still dealing with the marks from his injuries when the Daily Mail came sniffing around about his divorce in early November. They really seemed to want to focus on the breakup when he was clearly still hurting from something else.
When asked how he was settling into his new life, he responded with a playful string of alliterative words, describing it as ‘magical, majestic, and a little bit crazy’.
He started recording a video on his phone, intending to document the interaction with the Daily Mail, and jokingly asked what other words beginning with ‘m’ he was forbidden to say. When we offered ‘marriage’ as a suggestion, he immediately said, ‘Not that one.’
When questioned about his relationship with Walker, he gave a brief and enigmatic reply: ‘Mediation.’
Spanian used to be the face of Sydney’s ‘eshay’ culture – a working-class youth group known for their distinctive style of tracksuits, bum bags, and confident, streetwise attitude.
He was previously convicted of armed robbery and causing serious injuries with intent, as well as reckless wounding. The wounding charge was originally attempted murder, but was reduced.
As someone who’s always been fascinated by people and their stories, I’ve followed the journey of many who’ve turned their lives around. One particularly compelling case is that of Spanian. After spending over twelve years in prison, he completely reinvented himself. Upon his release from Bathurst prison in 2017, he started a YouTube series called ‘Into the Hood’. It’s a really unique project where he travels across Australia and even internationally, venturing into some of the most challenging and often dangerous neighborhoods to document life on the ground.
He built a career as an online influencer by presenting himself on YouTube as someone who had turned their life around after a criminal past, and he became very wealthy doing so.
Spanian has recently changed his appearance with both plastic surgery, including a nose job, and new dental veneers. Combined with his recent divorce, some longtime fans are questioning if he’s also fundamentally changed as a person.
He recently shared his new relationship with Walker online and then commented on the attention it brought him, saying he makes headlines whenever he starts or ends a relationship, and he enjoys being in the public eye.
