Potential spoilers for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie follow.
Details about the next Super Mario Galaxy movie suggest a well-known villain from the Mario universe will appear. The film, starring Chris Pratt and Charlie Day as the Mario brothers, is set to come out next month.
Per IGN, a new plot description for the movie was posted by UK cinema chain Everyman which read: “After defeating Bowser and saving Brooklyn, Mario faces Wario and Bowser Jr.’s evil alliance. Now, alongside his friends and Yoshi, he must stop their plans for world domination.”
What to Read Next
Yes Wario.
So, we already knew I’d be battling Bowser Jr. in the new game, and Benny Safdie is doing his voice, which is awesome. But honestly, everyone’s been hoping Wario would show up, and so far it’s just been a wishful thought!

The description is no longer on the Everyman website, likely because it was a mistake or revealed too much about the story.
I heard Jack Black – who is absolutely amazing as Bowser – actually wants Pedro Pascal from The Mandalorian to voice Wario! That would be incredible, honestly. Can you imagine?
In a 2023 interview with Deadline, Black pondered what might happen to Bowser in upcoming movies, asking, “What if there’s an even stronger, more sinister villain out there?”
I might be needed to help Mario and his friends protect the universe from a new, unknown enemy. And I think you know who I’m picturing… Wario. Pedro Pascal should play Wario.

In addition to Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy will once again voice Princess Peach. Joining the voice cast is Brie Larson, known for her role in Marvel films, as Rosalina, along with director Mark Safdie.
Fans got their first glimpse of Yoshi in a trailer released in January, following a brief tease of his appearance after the credits of the first movie.
Eagle-eyed viewer were also able to spot Birdo in the teaser.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be released on 1 April.
Okay, so a new magazine about Taylor Swift just dropped! It’s called ‘Living Legends’, it’s 100 pages long, and it’s all in color – seriously, it looks amazing. I grabbed my copy for only £8.99, you can find it at most newsagents or order it online. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a Swiftie like me!
