As the third season unfolds for the coming-of-age drama, a significant portion showcases the strained bond between Belly and Jeremiah in the lead-up to their wedding.

After experiencing numerous unexpected events, Jeremiah has not been a beloved character within the show. When asked about portraying one of the internet’s most disliked boyfriends, Casalegno discussed his experience with the character’s fan reception.
He shared with The New York Times that they generally have a negative opinion about him. However, since he no longer uses Instagram, he hasn’t encountered much hostility personally. The only instances of such content he encounters are when his sister sends him amusing memes related to the situation.

The actor made clear that while the narrative is a work of fiction, it’s crucial to recognize that it doesn’t reflect his personal experiences. Moreover, he found the portrayal of love within the series remarkably relatable.
The third season, inspired by Han’s 2011 novel “We’ll Always Have Summer,” is scheduled to be the final installment of the series. There are three more episodes left to air, and the series finale will take place on September 27th.

The final season of this show has been incredibly popular among audiences, and it’s currently leading the global TV chart on the streaming platform, surpassing shows like “The Assassin” and “Butterfly.” (According to FlixPatrol.)
The series has earned largely favorable feedback from critics, as indicated by Rotten Tomatoes’ ratings: Season 1 – 86% approval from 41 reviews, Season 2 – 60% approval from 31 reviews, and Season 3 – 75% approval from 15 reviews.
