The Shorekeeper in Wuthering Waves 1.3: A new 5-star character

In the upcoming update Version 1.3, a new character named The Shorekeeper will be added to the playable roster in Wuthering Waves. This character has been teased through drip marketing and we’ve learned a bit more about her role as a Resonator in the game.

The Shorekeeper WuWa Drip Marketing

Similar to other characters in Wuthering Waves, the Shorekeeper’s identity was gradually unveiled through a series of teaser releases. Here, we present the latest addition to our Resonator family, along with her quote, a short introduction, and an image for your viewing pleasure.

“‘The Shorekeeper’… I find this title fitting for me, as it reflects my purpose and ambition, which are tied to you.”

In simpler terms, the character known as WuWa Drip Marketing depicts a divine figure who was in a prolonged state of guardianship over mystical realms. However, when players summon the Shorekeeper in Wuthering Waves, her deep-seated emotions are stirred awake, prompting her desire to forge connections with our world.

When does the Shorekeeper join Wuthering Waves?

Although drip marketing doesn’t provide useful details about the Shorekeeper character, we have noticed consistent activity patterns in the Wuthering Waves banners since their release. The initial version of these banners, Version 1.1, was launched on June 28, 2024, and an updated version, Version 1.2, followed suit on August 15, 2024.

We can expect the following dates for Wuthering Waves 1.3 banners.

As a gamer, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled, and it seems like the Shorekeeper banner might drop in the early phases of the game. However, I’m just a player, so I’m waiting for the official word from the developers to confirm this.

We don’t know much about the true equipment of the Shorekeeper character in WuWa, as the developers are skilled at preventing leaks and we often must await official updates to learn about the capabilities of newly introduced Resonators.

Despite the whispers and tales circulating in the wilderness, let’s delve into the essential details about the Shorekeeper. However, it would be prudent to approach these stories with a touch of skepticism.

The Shorekeeper in the game story 

Owing to The Shorekeeper’s targeted email campaign, we have determined that the young lady belongs to the Black Shores group within Wuthering Waves. There are whispers suggesting that she might even be the head of the Black Shores faction.

Two other WuWa characters also belong to this faction. They are described as consultants.

The main objective of Black Shores is safeguarding our planet. They maintain a base on a secluded island, keeping their operations shrouded in secrecy.

Youhu — a new 4-star character in Wuthering Waves

In addition to the Shorekeeper, we’ve got a WuWa drip marketing for a new 4-star character, Youhu.

She is a high-level expert in antiques and unique treasures.
