She succeeds in exploring a trade agreement with England as requested by the Bourbons while compelling the Guises and other Catholic nobles to finance a palace in Paris named after King Charles.

In the finale, Catherine skillfully maneuvered through complex situations to achieve all her desires. Her determination and intelligence have made her a formidable ruler of France for the past decade. Although we witnessed her development in season 1, this installment showcases her confidence and ability to obtain what she wants with ease. This episode is a testament to Catherine’s strength and power. I find it fascinating!

As a seasoned history buff with a particular interest in the complexities of European royal dynasties, I must say that the power struggle between the Guises and Bourbons during this era was nothing short of captivating.
