The Rings of Power season 2 episode 4 release date, time, and preview

As a die-hard Tolkien fan and a connoisseur of Middle-earth lore, I can confidently say that the return of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on Prime Video is like a sweet melody to my ears after a long, cold winter. Having patiently waited for nearly two years, I am thrilled to dive back into this magical world and witness Sauron’s cunning machinations unfold.

The epic saga “The Lord of the Rings: The Power Rings” has returned to stream on Amazon Prime! On August 29th, Thursday, the initial three episodes from the second season of “The Power Rings” were made available on Amazon Prime Video, marking a return almost two years after its first season debuted.

It’s been a long wait, but the story picks up right where left off. After watching the first three episodes of the season, it’s clear that Sauron (Charlie Vickers) is making his big move!

When is The Rings of Power season 2 episode 4 on Prime Video?

You won’t need to wait excessively for the fourth episode of The Rings of Power season 2, but following the release of three episodes this week, it might seem like an eternity before its airing.

The fourth episode of “The Rings of Power” season 2 will air on Amazon Prime Video this coming Thursday, September 5th. You can start watching it from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time or 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. This is the time when the first three episodes of the season were initially released, and it’s also the time they will be releasing all new episodes throughout the season.

After airing episode 4, we’ll have completed half of the second season of The Rings of Power. Starting from now, Amazon Prime Video will release a new episode every week, culminating in the season finale on October 3. It’s full speed ahead towards the second season finale!

The Rings of Power season 2 episode 4 preview

Following the airing of the third episode from season 2 of The Rings of Power, a sneak peek for the fourth episode has been revealed! Judging by the trailer, it seems that we’ll be continuing our journey within the woods near Pelargir alongside Arondir, Theo, and Isildur.

The preview opens with a forest that Isildur traveled into to steal back Berek. It’s demolished by something big. It’s Ents! I’m calling it now, and no, I haven’t actually seen episode 4 yet! Then, we see Theo. He appears to have been taken captive by the Men who he distracted while Isildur stole his horse back.

“In the unfathomable depths of our realm, there are entities yet to be named,” I remark. Then, in a subsequent scene, Isildur’s comrade narrowly escapes the clutches of an enormous, bug-like beast! A voice replies, “It seems we’ve stirred them from their slumber.”

Galadriel responds, “No, it’s not something I did. It appears to be the handiwork of Sauron. He seems to be awakening evil, fostering darkness, and stirring up malice.”

We see clips of orcs gathering, drums beating, the Elves marching to battle, someone slicing through a Barrow-wight, and the Dark Wizard.

At long last, the much-anticipated moment has arrived: in The Rings of Power season 2 episode 4, Tom Bombadil, portrayed by Rory Kinnear, will grace our screens. He warns the Stranger, “The fires shall rage unabated until Middle-earth lies in ashes.” His words hint at a darker future ahead!

In the end, Galadriel, Elrond, and their group encounter an unexpected attacker or entity on their mission against Sauron. The nature of the assailant remains unknown, but Galadriel advises everyone to brace themselves as they find themselves enveloped in darkness.

I don’t know, but this looks like it has the makings of the best episode yet!

What to expect in The Rings of Power season 2 episode 4

In The Rings of Power’s season 2 episode 4, it’s challenging to predict where the story is heading because a lot of ground has been explored in certain parts of Middle-earth, yet there are areas where only minimal progress has been made.

It appears that Elrond and Galadriel are on the verge of learning that Eregion is in trouble, unless they get distracted by whatever peril awaits them in episode 4 previews. Additionally, the mysterious figure known as the Stranger will encounter Tom Bombadil soon. I’m curious to find out more about this enigmatic character’s identity. The Stranger seems to be on a path towards unlocking his abilities, but it’s hard to believe that the Dark Wizard is pleased with how his minions failed to capture him earlier in this season.

Following their absence in the season finale and the initial episodes of season 2, it now seems that the narrative has transitioned to follow Isildur, Theo, and Arondir’s adventures in the Southlands. It is evident that Adar is still amassing his troops in Mordor, and war is imminent. It’s possible that some of these conflicts may be depicted in episode 4; however, I anticipate that such battles will likely begin in either episode 5 or 6 based on current predictions.

Additionally, we’re aware that the Dwarves are set to receive or already possess rings imbued with power. These rings offer them momentary relief and solutions to their immediate issues, yet in the grand scheme of things, they will ultimately lead to the Dwarves’ downfall.

In “The Rings of Power” season 2 episode 4, that’s the direction our story is taking! Don’t miss it on Thursday, September 5th!
