The return of Julia Hart strengthens AEW’s women’s division

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the world of professional wrestling, I can confidently say that Julia Hart’s transformation over the past 3 years in AEW has been nothing short of spectacular. From her cheerleader gimmick to her current role in the House of Black, it’s been a rollercoaster ride of unpredictable twists and turns.

Over the last 3 years, Julia Hart’s progression in AEW has been one of the AEW creative team’s finest achievements. Initially, she joined the company as a cheerleader persona, serving as the mascot for the tag team called the Varsity Blonds. This character was a fitting choice for Hart, given her background in competitive cheerleading. Dressing up a couple of young wrestlers (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) in letter jackets and partnering them with Hart seemed like an obvious decision.

Although no strong competitors emerged while she held the title, Hart consistently won over audiences at AEW. Her ring entry was mesmerizing, and she continually refined her skills each week, even incorporating an awe-inspiring moonsault into her repertoire.

Regrettably, Hart’s Title reign in TBS might have come to an early close due to an injury that necessitated a prolonged absence from the ring for this promising newcomer. After several compelling vignettes, Hart made her comeback on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, attacking a woman with a similar background who has also recently returned after a lengthy layoff – Jamie Hayter.
