The Repair Shop’s Steve Fletcher shares health update after operation
As a dedicated gamer with countless hours logged into The Repair Shop simulator, I can’t help but feel a pang of empathy for Steve Fletcher. Just like him, I too have spent countless hours mending and restoring, only my ‘patients’ are digital and my tools are pixelated. Seeing him in a hospital bed instead of his familiar workshop brings a new perspective to the game I adore.
The Repair Shop‘s Steve Fletcher has shared a health update after going through an operation.
The watch connoisseur posted a picture on Instagram from his hospital bed, assuring everyone in the caption that he’s currently fine.
“I’m in a different kind of repair shop today…” he wrote. “And this time it was me being repaired!
I recently underwent a minor knee surgery, and I’m delighted to say everything turned out fine. I can’t help but express my gratitude towards our remarkable healthcare providers. They are truly exceptional individuals. A big thank you to everyone who took care of me today.
In the comments area, numerous fans expressed their hopes for a swift recovery for Steve, mentioning that it’s unusual yet heartening to see him being taken care of, instead of him being the one who does the fixing.
The popular series The Repair Shop has come back on BBC One and iPlayer for the second part of Season 13, and there’s even more excitement in store past upcoming episodes!
A new show titled “The Repair Shop on the Road” is being developed, where the repair crew will travel to different locations to fix and restore people’s cherished items.
Additionally, it has been recently announced a fresh tour titled “Secrets from the Barn“. This tour offers fans an exclusive opportunity to view unseen footage and meet the experts up close.
As a gamer, I can’t wait for our gaming events to start rolling in February! From Newcastle to Birmingham, Glasgow to Edinburgh, Salford to Swansea, and beyond, we’re hitting the road. The presenters may change depending on the date, so stay tuned as we reveal them closer to the actual events.
The Repair Shop airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
