Over the past few days, Elsa and her partner have found themselves on different continents. Elsa is currently residing at Byron Bay in Australia with their children, while Chris is enjoying his 42nd birthday by socializing with famous friends in Ibiza.

On a Tuesday, Chris shared the true cause behind his absence from his wife over the past few weeks – he’s been deeply engrossed in work.

On Instagram Stories, the Australian actor offered a peek into the daily workings of the Romanian team behind his Disney Plus series Limitless: Live Better Now, suggesting that he’s been quite occupied with global filming sessions for the show.

During Chris’ absence, Elsa took on the role of caregiver on Monday. Specifically, she ran errands with their son and picked up some smoothies for them both.

Meanwhile, a Spanish actress, aged 49, is managing her parental responsibilities singlehandedly, whereas Chris celebrated his 42nd birthday last weekend with grandeur by partying with a group of high-profile friends in the vibrant city of Ibiza.

On Monday, which was his actual birthday, Elsa didn’t go with her husband to the celebration, but she still expressed a heartfelt birthday greeting for him on social media platforms.

In a nostalgic post featuring a snapshot of her hugging Chris, Elsa penned down affectionate sentiments: ‘Happy Birthday to my top-tier champion, Rocky! You are truly extraordinary.’

It comes after Chris and Elsa spent most of the European summer apart. 

Elsa was in her native Spain for weeks, filming her new TV series, Matices.

Meanwhile, Chris was travelling, even attending the final day of Wimbledon without his wife.

Chris, along with his long-term fitness companion Luke Zocchi, took a relaxing break at Hossegor, France, by the beachside. Meanwhile, Elsa spent her vacation in sunny Spain, her homeland.

In July, they once again came together for Chris Hemsworth’s latest National Geographic show, titled “Limitless: Live Better Now.” This time, Chris was joined by his twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, who were both 11 years old, in the city of London.

The couple tied the knot during the Christmas holidays in 2010.

In the last few years, the Hemsworth family has decided to call Byron Bay their permanent residence, having moved from Los Angeles to Australia about nine years back.
