The Precinct Delivers a Crime-Ridden Neo-Noir Sandbox This May

Kwalee and Fallen Tree Games have revealed that their isometric action game, titled “The Precinct,” where you assume the role of a law enforcer maintaining order in a crime-infested metropolis, is set to release this coming May.

In the gritty, neo-noir setting of Averno City during 1983, you’ll step into the shoes of rookie police officer Nick Cordell Jr., dealing with the city’s gangs following your father’s unfortunate death. High-speed car chases in destructible environments are a common occurrence as you delve deeper to discover the mystery surrounding your father’s passing.

As a gamer, I’d say this game, known as The Precinct, is hailed as an ode to iconic cop movies, packed with a variety of crimes to solve, ranging from petty parking violations to high-stakes bank heists, illegal street races, drug busts, and beyond. The game features a day/night cycle and dynamic weather to make the city feel alive. I’ll be chasing down criminals on foot through narrow alleyways or using a squad car or helicopter for high-speed pursuits as I bring law and order to this bustling metropolis.

A real, Limited Edition of the game “The Precinct” will be offered for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 upon its release on May 13th. This special edition includes the game, a protective sleeve, a steelbook case, a digital soundtrack, and a city map poster that highlights collectible spots.

Alternatively, For those who prefer the physical version of “The Precinct“, it will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 starting May 13th. The package includes the game itself, a cover sleeve, a steelbook case, an electronic soundtrack, and a city map poster that pinpoints collectible locations.
