The Pokémon Centre Destined Rivals ETB is sold out, but only for now

You will have a second chance to get your hands on this exclusive product.

Today marks the availability of pre-orders for the long-awaited Pokémon Centre Destined Rivals ETBs, however, they’ve already run out of stock due to overwhelming demand. Given the high level of anticipation surrounding these collections, it should come as no surprise that they quickly sold out, even with a restriction of one per customer.

Pokémon Center Exclusive Booster (ETB) packs are always in high demand due to their unique features. Unlike regular ETBs available at other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, or Target, these have extra perks such as two additional Booster Packs and a special promotional card with a stamp. Moreover, Pokémon Center ETBs also come with distinct box artwork.

Consequently, they are highly sought-after by those who wish to either hold onto them or resell them. Typically, their market worth exceeds the original purchase price.

Of course, those who didn’t manage to grab them felt let down. Typically, there are only a few opportunities to snag the unique Pokémon Centre ETBs per collection. But in an uncommon move, The Pokémon Company has announced some thrilling updates on their FAQ page that will undoubtedly excite collectors.

More Pokémon Centre Destined Rivals ETB‘s will “become avaliable later this year”

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve noticed an exciting update coming our way! Previously, it was reported that The Pokémon Company has been ramping up the re-printing of TCG (Trading Card Game) sets due to an overwhelming demand for Pokémon Cards. This means that some recent sets, like Prismatic Evolutions, are expected to see more stock later this year, which is fantastic news for us collectors!

Yet, it might not encompass some or all of the elite Pokémon Centers ETBs, which makes the FAQ update in Destined Rivals all the more thrilling.

Or:

While some or all of the top-tier Pokémon Centers ETBs may not be included, the FAQ update on Destined Rivals still adds to the excitement.

It has been officially announced that we can expect further Destined Rivals Pokémon Center ETBs later in the year. Other stores are also planning to start taking pre-orders for Destined Rivals, with these pre-orders starting over the next few days and weeks before the May 30 release date.

Will I be able to get a second ETB?

As a dedicated fan, I can’t predict for certain if you’ll be able to grab another ETB (Expansion Theme Booster) after buying one today, as this seems to be uncharted territory in the world of Pokémon cards. The usual procedures seem to be taking a different turn.

In simpler terms, we reduced the number of ETBs (Emergency Temporary Bridge) from two to one during this sale. This move aimed to make it accessible to a larger number of individuals, while also preventing bots and scalpers from hoarding them. The queue was long, with people waiting for hours to have a chance to buy it. Interestingly, the stock lasted for approximately three hours following the drop. Although some people were unable to secure one, it’s reassuring to know that additional stock is on its way.
