Fiona Dourif, known for her work on The Pitt, will star in the upcoming psychological horror film A Head Full of Ghosts. She’ll play one of the worried parents of a troubled teenager, alongside David Harbour.
The new movie is adapted from Paul Tremblay’s 2015 novel and centers on a family in the suburbs dealing with the strange and unpredictable actions of their teenage daughter, Marjorie.
The Barrett family thinks their daughter is possessed by a spirit, so they decide to document her experiences with a reality TV show.
Fifteen years after the tragic events, Merry, her sister, confronts her family’s troubled history alongside a journalist. Together, they seek to understand the source of the evil that shattered their lives.
As reported by Variety, Brad Dourif and David Harbour will star alongside Hollie Hill-Pearson and Esmé Creed-Miles, who will portray Merry as a child and an adult, respectively.

As a fan, I have to say the way this team approached this scary story was just brilliant. Their artistic choices were really striking and unique, and honestly, they created a genuinely unsettling atmosphere that really got under my skin.
It’s easy to see why Stephen King named this book his favorite of the last ten years, especially since he said it genuinely terrified him – and that really speaks volumes.
