Niku Games Studio has released its charming adventure game, The Palace on the Hill, for Android and iOS devices. Created by a team of women developers in India, the game first launched on PC in June 2024 and was recognized as PC/Console Game of the Year at the 2024 IGDC Awards.

Honestly, I’m really hyped to meet all the different characters – they’re saying there are over 25, and they come from tons of different backgrounds, which should make the world feel super rich and interesting. Plus, just the idea of exploring a huge open world and doing quests is awesome, but getting to wander around 15th-century Indian royal palaces? That’s what really sold me!

This highly-rated game looks incredibly enjoyable!
