The One Show’s Alex Jones forced to rush daughter Annie, two, to A&E AGAIN just weeks after the tot broke her elbow

On a recent Sunday, Alex Jones found herself urgently taking her daughter Annie to the emergency room, a situation that occurred merely weeks following an incident where the little one had broken her arm.

As a devoted follower, I’m sharing that the charming host of The One Show, aged 48 and a loving father to Teddy (6) and Kit (4), shared an update on his Instagram Stories recently.

While seated on the bed next to two-year-old Annie, Alex penned down, “My Perspective. Sweet Annie took a tumble today. Fortunately, it wasn’t severe, but after such a lengthy day, she’s exhausted. What a trooper!

In just a few weeks, Alex revealed that Annie suffered a clean break to her elbow after playing a game similar to Gladiators with her older siblings.

On their Binge! podcast, she shared with co-host Harry Judd about her challenging week, saying: “We both grabbed hold of each other, collided in the middle, and somehow Kit ended up leaning on Annie’s elbow. You know that unique sound when something like that happens?

In January, due to an emergency at the hospital concerning his son Kit, Alex had to skip The One Show without disclosing more information about his health status.

The broadcaster posted a picture on Instagram, which showed her son lying in a hospital bed, with the nurse attending to him. His face, however, remained concealed.

Next to it, she penned: ‘It never becomes any less difficult, yet the experience is significantly improved by the incredibly kind and tender caregivers.’

The star didn’t reveal the reason behind her son requiring medical care initially, however, she reassured fans at a later time that he had recovered well.

Posting this picture of myself, I commented: ‘Finally completed! No need to mention, I won’t appear on @bbctheoneshow today; instead, @laurenlaverne and @gabbylogan will take care of things for you, with love x.’

Alex was replaced on the episode by Gabby Logan who co-hosted with Lauren Laverne. 

Late last year, Alex took a brief absence from The One Show to move house. 

The broadcaster shared that she has moved away from London, having resided in the same home for eleven years.

Following her declaration in July, Alex disclosed that she and Charlie had opted for a change in surroundings where their kids could flourish instead.

In a heartfelt Instagram post in July, she openly shared that she was experiencing strong emotions while saying goodbye to her previous residence, marking a significant change in her life.

11 years later, we’re changing residences. Such an emotional moment! If you have any useful packing tips, I’d really appreciate them! That was the sentiment in her post, looking for suggestions from her followers.

Addressing the camera, she expressed: “I have some exciting news to share – we’re relocating to a new home! Oh my, it’s a bit emotional for me.

Next, the speaker displayed numerous stacks of boxes and shared emotional moments including a baby keepsake album and a memento box filled with childhood memories.

I delved into the past today, unearthing yet another massive container. “This is a colossal find,” I exclaimed, “It’s filled with treasures from my children’s artistic journey.” There’s certainly no shortage of these precious keepsakes!

Next, Alex showed the things she was parting with, such as a soft hat and a festive box, too.

As the host assumed control over the challenging packing chore, she confessed honestly: “For the very first time in my existence, I can’t seem to locate my belongings.
