The One Show’s Alex Jones apologises after revealing spoiler for David Tennant’s new show
On “The One Show,” Alex Jones had to offer an apology to David Tennant this evening, as she accidentally revealed a plot twist from his upcoming series.
The performer from “Doctor Who” and “Rivals,” who is also an actor, serves as the host of ITV’s latest game show titled “Genius Game.” He recently made an appearance on BBC One’s longstanding afternoon program to publicize it, and even previewed some pre-recorded segments discussing completely unrelated topics.
Sadly, Alex shared more than necessary about the series’ events, causing David to intervene and curb her from disclosing further details.

He clarified, “I’m not the one who made it, but I’m known as The Creator. In a sense, I act like a messenger of God, providing guidance, instructions, and tasks for [the contestants]. They’re all incredibly intelligent and resourceful.
Alex mentioned NASA, but David pointed out that it was more of a joke, possibly revealing too much.
“Sorry,” she said as she held her head in her hands, “sorry, David.”
He responded with, “It’s alright that you saw the initial episode,” as everyone chuckled, then he went on to explain the storyline further.
He mentioned, “There are five distinct individuals: a witty stand-up comedian, a crime novelist, a forensic scientist, a skilled poker player, and a doctor. Each is exceptionally intelligent in their own right but with unique perspectives. Imagine setting these diverse minds in motion, each sparking off the other.
Previously declared, the game titled “Genius Game” pits a selected team against each other based on their exceptional intelligence and social aptitude. They engage in an exciting sequence of distinct challenges intended to measure their abilities.
Tonight on “The One Show”, Alex and co-host Angellica Bell discussed Matthew Rhys’ upcoming thriller, “Hallow Road”, as well as the latest season of “Glow Up” with Leomie Anderson.
The “Genius Game” commences tomorrow on ITV1, and it can also be streamed on ITVX. Meanwhile, “The One Show” will be aired every night at 7pm on BBC One, with streaming options available on iPlayer.
