Tom Hiddleston has finally shared news about a potential third season of The Night Manager. Fans and critics loved the show’s second season and have been eagerly awaiting an update.

I started playing this awesome spy thriller back in 2016, and it hooked me right away. You play as Jonathan Pine, this ex-soldier who ends up managing fancy hotels, and he gets pulled into the world of espionage by Angela Burr, who works at the Foreign Office. It’s seriously intense!

I’m really hooked on the second season! It’s awesome seeing Jonathan back undercover, but this time as an MI6 officer. He’s diving deep into the dangerous world of arms dealing, trying to take down this really intimidating warlord named Teddy Dos Santos – Diego Calva is fantastic in the role, by the way.

Tom Hiddleston, known for playing Loki, has discussed the possibility of a second season for his series, The Night Manager, before the finale airs.

He announced on This Morning that the show will continue, as it was always planned as the start of a 12-episode story. This allowed the writers to explore many possibilities for the future, knowing a second season was likely.

“We like trilogies. There’s something satisfying about trilogies, narratively.”

The actor stated that the next season will arrive much faster than the ten-year wait fans experienced between the first and second seasons.

This follows Hiddleston’s recent revelation about the major season two plot twist: Hugh Laurie’s character, Richard ‘Dickie’ Roper, was actually still alive, despite everyone believing he had been executed.

He discussed the reveal on The One Show, explaining that the author, John le Carré, famously described Hugh and Richard Roper as ‘the worst man in the world’.

Despite enjoying immense privilege and all the benefits of British democracy, he acts in a deeply cynical way. However, the actor portraying him is incredibly charismatic, making it easy to overlook his character’s flaws.

The exciting part is that audiences adore Hugh Laurie, and they especially love his portrayal of Richard Roper. Now that he’s returned, the story is building towards a confrontation between these two characters, which is really thrilling.
