‘The New Yorker’ Taps J. Crew for 100th Anniversary Collab Capsule

This year, I’m thrilled to be part of the excitement surrounding The New Yorker, as it marks an impressive milestone – a century of shaping our cultural landscape! In recognition of its 100-year legacy, this iconic publication is joining forces once more with fellow NYC institution J. Crew for their most extensive collaboration to date.

Following the release of a special collection of vintage-style tees (each featuring a signature from a New Yorker comic), this pair is now expanding their offerings to include a broader launch, encompassing designs for men, women, and children, as well as outerwear options.

In the fresh capsule, J. Crew aimed to embody the magazine’s humor and elegance by presenting a mix of clothing and accessories that convey ambiguity. The line is primarily characterized by an earthy, muted color scheme, with rugby shirts bearing discreet logos and oversized oxford shirts appearing in both solid and striped versions.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’d say: I just got my hands on some fresh gear that screams NYC style! Cozy wool crewnecks and luxurious cashmere knits are joining my collection. Plus, I’ve added some cool graphic tees and hoodies sporting The New Yorker’s logo right smack in the middle, as well as catchy phrases like “Future Critic” and “Talk of the Town.” To top it off, I’ve grabbed a trendy canvas tote bag and baseball cap for the perfect finishing touch.

Have a good peek at the The New Yorker x J. Crew anniversary collection, showcased in the gallery above, and grab your favorites right away from J. Crew’s official online store!
