The new Star Wars Legion Starter Sets are coming sooner than you’d think

The creators of the widely enjoyed strategy game “Star Wars: Legion,” Atomic Mass Games, unveiled in March at AdeptiCon that “Star Wars: Legion” would be receiving four new single-player army packs. Initially, they had only specified fall as the release timeframe for these starter sets. With fall fast approaching, we now have confirmed release dates for the starter sets.

In the UK, as well as the US, the launch dates for Star Wars: Legon are synchronized, according to Wargamer. It’s expected that both countries will get the game on the same day. Two starter sets are scheduled for release in September, with the remaining two sets following closely in October, which happens to be a fantastic month.

The initial sets launching soon will be the Galactic Empire Starter Pack and the Rebel Alliance Starter Pack, set to hit shelves on September 19, just over two months from now. In one box, you’ll find Darth Vader commanding a squad of stormtroopers, while Luke Skywalker takes charge of a group of rebel fighters in another.

Fortunately for players eager to control droids or clones, both the Galactic Republic: Starter Set and the Separatist Alliance: Starter Set are set to release on October 17th. General Grievous, the renowned cyborg warrior, will lead the Separatist Alliance set, whereas the Galactic Republic box will feature two heroes, with Obi-Wan Kenobi as the main hero and a second Jedi acting as a secondary character.

Among numerous enthusiasts, like myself, the anticipation for the upcoming starter sets is high due to their production in durable hard plastic, making assembly and gluing a smoother process.

In the UK, you can expect to spend roughly 85 GBP for a starter set, while in the US, it’s approximately 95 USD. Taking everything into account, this is quite an advantageous offer, particularly when compared to other wargames that often cost around $200.

Currently, I’m thoroughly enjoying Andor and have intentions of acquiring the Rebel Alliance Starter Set soon. In October, you can count on me purchasing the Galactic Republic set without a doubt.
