It’s not surprising that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard now live completely separate lives, considering their disastrous marriage, bitter divorce, and highly publicized legal fights clearly showed they were never a good match.
Recent photos published this week clearly show Amber Heard, looking relaxed and happy on her 40th birthday. The pictures depict her walking along the beach in Cadaques, a charming white village on Spain’s Costa Brava, and she’s wearing pastel sneakers and has her hair in a ponytail.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw her! And there were her kids too – adorable little Oonagh Paige, who’s four, and the twins, Ocean and Agnes! They’re still babies, only about ten months old, born last May. She wasn’t alone, of course; she had a nanny with her, and they were hanging out with another family who had kids around the same age. It was just… perfect. I tried to be cool and not stare, but honestly, it was hard!
Cadaqués draws celebrities from both Hollywood and Spain, charmed by its timeless atmosphere – it’s largely unchanged since Salvador Dalí settled there in the 1930s. However, don’t expect the glitz and glamour of a place like Beverly Hills; Cadaqués offers a much more low-key experience.
Since moving to Madrid – something I first reported in March 2023 – Amber Heard has lived a relatively private life, focusing on motherhood and enjoying a comfortable lifestyle, rather than pursuing her career as a famous actress.
These days, her family is the most important thing to her, and she’s a wonderful mother to her young children. She built her family with the help of a surrogate, as a friend shared with People magazine last year.
She lives in the upscale El Viso neighborhood, among people working in finance and international relations.
Similar to many parents, she sends her kids to the neighborhood school and can be seen doing the school run daily. She also makes time for regular runs in the local park.
A source in Hollywood says they haven’t heard from her in months, and notes she doesn’t seem interested in the celebrity scene she once enjoyed.
She’s happily single and doesn’t seem to be looking for a relationship, according to her friends. Since moving to Madrid, she hasn’t shown any interest in anyone romantically.
She previously dated film-maker Bianca Butti, with that relationship ending in 2021. She was also romantically involved with writer and activist Eve Barlow, a relationship believed to have finished in 2022.
All in all then, she has a very different lifestyle to Depp’s.
Apparently, this actor has been consistently linked to a series of romantic partners over the last few years, but all of these relationships have been kept private.
I’m also hearing that all of these relationships were just casual, and some of the people involved were fans or people trying to get close to the celebrity.
While Heard has chosen to stay out of the spotlight, Depp has now begun his return to Hollywood.
He made an appearance last Thursday at CinemaCon, the annual gathering for movie industry professionals and fans to preview upcoming films. His appearance was met with enthusiastic applause from theater owners.

Rumors have circulated for years, though never proven, that Elon Musk and Amber Heard had embryos created and frozen while they were dating, following Heard’s 2016 split from Johnny Depp.

These days, Spain feels like home for her. She shared with a videographer, speaking Spanish fluently, that she intends to live there permanently, and she’s already made friends with a group of Spanish mothers.
She owns a house worth £1.2 million and lives near some players from the Atletico Madrid football team. She continues to earn money from her previous movies through ongoing royalty payments.
Although she received £5.2 million in her divorce from Johnny Depp and pledged to donate it to charity, many of those funds were used to cover the costs of her ongoing legal fights with him.
One neighbour said: ‘She wears a cap and sunglasses and normal clothes and keeps a low profile.
She enjoys living here because it’s peaceful. It’s a neighborhood with a lot of well-known residents, like footballers, but everyone respects each other’s privacy, which is important to her.
