According to insider Daniel Richtman, the studio wants to include him in the first new installment of the franchise since 2008’s The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. It’s currently unknown how significant his role would be.

Universal Pictures is hoping to bring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson back for a new ‘Scorpion King’ film, and they’re also interested in having him make an appearance, even a brief one, in the next ‘Mummy’ movie.
